Trust me, he has this exact view on what scientists actually do.
For all his disdain for religious practices and dogmas, he treats scientific approaches with the same fervour some zealots approach their respective religious doctrines.
You mean "scientism"; it's patent nonsense for stupid people in want of a "sky daddy" and more or less well recognized as such within contemporary academic thought (there are probably some archaic holdovers who know that they can milk it for money relying on public gullibility and undereducation, but that's about it; the liars or idiots who falsely conflate scientism, or "science-friendly religions" such as "secular Humanism" with atheism are even worse, if not for their stupidity, then their patent dishonesty and ignorance).

It's popularity probably peaked around the time of the 1800s Industrial revolution and inventions such as the assembly line since it served as the equivalent of a "cargo cult" religion for stupid or illiterate people, supported by silly pop-cultural myths and fables (such as the reality that scientific and technological thought advanced superiorly in many past cultures than it does or has today, since Francis Bacon's take on the inductive method was institutionalized in the so-called "modern" scientific sense.

(Plenty of examples include ancient China inventing gunpower centuries before the West, or accomplishments, such as the building of the Great Pyramids with the ancient technology of that day and age being far superior to comparatively trivial feats such as landing on the moon - which was done more just for the purpose of an arms race with the Soviets than anything "scientific" to begin with - or whatnot).

Vaccines are just consumer health products created by manufacturing companies; they aren't created by "scientists" anymore than an Xbox or a toaster oven is.

(If Bob has this childish, "Dexter's Lab" image of some white-coated "scientists" cooking vaccines up in a lab he's incredibly dumb and clueless how product manufacturing works).
They are in that the company has a scientific team developing the vaccine through a clinical trial process. You don't have to work for the government to be a scientist, since we don't live in the USSR.

Whether you're religious or not, you have to admit that organised religion has done a lot of good in this world. Rome (whether you want it in pagan, Byzantine or Carolingian flavours), the Ummayad Caliphate and the British Empire were all based around an organised faith, be it Christianity, Islam or the imperial cult, and they all had massive contributions to the world today.

What good has the Holy Church of Progressivism done?

If anyone is still on the fence about whether Bob literally wants to kill all Trump supporters:

Unfortunately for you, I'm not a Russian, a leftist or a fag.
It's weird because it seems like he's arguing that because this one guy was allegedly debunked that nothing he reported took place.

To me, it's the equivalent of saying because one crazy guy claiming to have been a Mike Force Green Beret in Vietnam was proven to be a liar that there was never a Mike Force, despite volumes of evidence to the contrary.

I guess the Berlin Airlift had to be organized because the Soviets were such magnanimous hosts to their German guests.

It's the Russian equivalent of ”wooden doors”.

They both pick tiny holes in the historical narrative that may or may not have happened (whether that's wooden doors on the gas chambers at Auschwitz or Solzhenitsyn allegedly getting some things wrong in his book) and use it to discredit the entire historical narrative, be that the existence of the Holocaust or Soviet crimes against humanity, without actually disproving that narrative.

I'm giving Bob a little credit here. I checked out WandaVision the other night and he was actually right. While not as heavy as a Lynch product, it does take some pretty obvious inspiration from him, and goes a little further than just aping the style. I certainly wouldn't compare it to Lynch's finest because I think it sets expectations too high, but I think we may have jumped the gun making fun of his Tomato review.

I'm sure it'll turn to capeshit around the finale when Disney needs the characters to inevitably stop a blue laser from blowing up New York, but for now, Bob was right.

Man, imagine if Bob was one of the rare people who ends up dying from this. While I'm normally not keen on Cows dying, the absolute irony of being killed by the vaccine he demanded created by the scientist he venerated, while being warned by the mayo ghouls he dismisses, that would be just too perfect of a combination.
You know, "how will Bob die" would be a good next poll

The ethical thing to do would be give him like some vaccine like an intern dropped on the floor and had to wring out into a test-tube.
Ya know, want not, waste not.

And this is the real problem with Biden, not any crazy conspiracies or (((new world orders))) but an age of unbridled corruption. The next couple of years are going to be talked about by future generations as an era of corruption and greed that will make the teapot dome scandal seem minor.
Hes going to be the next Warren G Harding where he was elected on the promise of a return to normalcy, his only qualifications are being a party insider and he "looks Presidential", and after his possible death in office a flood of scandals are going to emerge.

Like Yuuichirou Kumada said, yes that is how he really does view scientists. All his knowledge of scientists comes from comic book films, blockbuster movies, and sci-fi B movies where one or two super smart people in labcoats can create an invention that will save the day and change society overnight. It works in fiction because the plot demands it and the audience expects it. In reality science is something that takes countless individuals and years to actually achieve progress. Even Edison had a team working under him to invent the lightbulb.

Who was it said that if you get rid of religion, people will just use something else as a substitute?
Whatever Nietzsche envisioned would replace religion I doubt he thought in a future some fat guy in a basement would replace God and Religion with a fat Italian plumber and a bunch of guys in capes fighting invisible monsters on a green screen.
