You know what's funny about this is that I have a small archive of photos of pre-opening China with a lot of documentation of Potemkin airports for the visiting dignitaries. They've been doing that since the 70s and it's all a scam. It was just more notable then when you could see this huge concourse with all the modern fixtures with 4 white people in it and no-one else, or an "air travel map of China" with 5 airports in a country the size of the USA.

They are both unhinged, narcissistic manbabies on different fields. Except one matured a bit and maybe realized there is a chance for him to make something of himself if he works on self-improvement while the other is fucking 40 years old and hasn't realized that in his entire career he did nothing but burn bridges, some of which weren't even finished!
Imagine if you were a complete stranger who never even heard of MovieBob and you decide to google him a bit. First thing you find is his twitter and you find out he is a colossal fucking asshole who feels entitled to lashing out on people he doesn't even know because of his "superior politics". Even if you gave him a chance and decided to give his content a try after that, chances are this bitter taste would linger in your experience!

Bob's Marvel sperging has got me thinking. There's a hashtag going around, #freeMvC2, trying to get the game Marvel vs. Capcom 2 back up for sale after it was taken down in December 2013. I wonder what Bob would think about it if he knew it existed? He could support it because of his pathological devotion to Marvel, but I think he most likely intensely loathe it. He would say Disney was right to not let the game keep being available for sale because it was a great strategy to get the movie rights to the X-Men. Also, not letting it be for sale causes gamers misery, and Bob hates gamers and can only feel any semblance of happiness when his perceived enemies are miserable or suffering.

Imagine being someone who liked MovieBob's old videos circa 2011, but just lost track of him over the years. On a whim, you decide to look up his channel and see he still makes videos. You watch a few and realize these are really bad with a low amount of effort behind them. You then watch some of his older videos and realize a video from Bob in 2011 is the same as one in 2021. You see he has not improved slightly in all that time and his content was pretty subpar to begin with. You are momentarily embarassed but quickly move on with your life and never spare Bob a passing thought again.

Like, I get that he assumes the Democrats will always win the popular vote. But that only wins them the Presidency. The Republicans can still win the Senate and House and hold back the SUPERIOR FUTURE. Hell, even Democrats like Manchin and Sinema can do that!
Also, eliminating the Electoral College would require an Amendment, which would mean it needs Republican votes in Congress and Republican states' approval.
His plan (he knows he can't fully admit to) to just exterminate all Republicans is actually a more sound plan than his Electoral College one!

What's funny about Bob worshipping the modern Democratic party as the heralds of the SOUP-EAR-EEYORE FOO-TURE is that even the NY Times, the holy Mecca of modern corporate Neo-liberalism, just put out an article say that blue states were the thing holding back progress, not red states. They pointed out the massive disparity in wealth, the high levels of poverty and crime, the crippling high real estate prices with no safeguards, the dismal funding for education, and the general social and infrastructural decay among many, many other things that are making blue states horribly places to live in recent years.
