How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Bob’s hate boner for the sonic movies is so bizarre. I’m not a huge sonic fan but I get why people like them. I had a lot of fun watching detective pikachu, another video game movie that wasn’t deep but enjoyable to watch. It’s almost like people sometimes like to see their favorite characters come to life on the big screen without it needing to be much more than that. ^ahem marvel*

I think a big part of it is him knowing if the Mario movie is a pile of shit, it’s going to put the sonic movie in an even better light. Then he will be forced to either love it and look even more biased or bad mouth his god and savior Mario.
He's still angry that Sonic dared threaten the Messenger Mario, he who can open the Gate to B'ngb'ngwah'oo.

Also I legit wouldn't be shocked if the reason he's even angrier now is because he probably got offended by how Robotnik was written in the film, since they're both abusive self-deluded narcissists who believe technology can solve their problems.

Well, and in the movie itself, there's a scene where Sonic goes "Oh ye, I was on this planet full of giant mushrooms. It looked really boring" which I think Bobo took as a very deep and "insulting" dig at Mario.

When I heard that line, I knew it was just a subtle jab a Mario. Why does fatass have to think everything is so deep?

No he is not. Chris's taste coincides quite a lot with Bob's; the difference is that Chris doesn't make movie fandom a part of his personality.

Good for Chris he decided to upgrade from crazy homeless man look to dead hookers buried in the backyard look.

It's remarkable that Robert thinks he should be allowed to live. He is straight white settler trash. He is not a person and has no rights. His continued existence steals resources from trans women of color. His public extermination would only benefit the Earth.

I know he's just selfish. Still how non-self-aware he is remains kind of offensive.

His hatred for the Sonic movies comes from him hating Sonic in general since he admitted to participating in the 90s console wars which he treated like Vietnam.
There is also the element of the production of the film actually listening to fans who he considers gamergate manbabies and changing the design of Sonic from the 1st trailer which had spooky uncanny valley eyes and features.

Moviebob's jealous that Time's 2021 Person of the Year is someone who's actually contributed to the scientific community:

"Who's your Person of the Year, Bob?" Intellectually bankrupt film critic gives equally intellectually bankrupt response:

.

Coincidentally, Joe Rogan has saved more people's lives in 2021 than Moviebob ever has:

Frankly I'm a little surprised that Bob didn't go to the long prepared script for when someone you hate is named Man of the Year: "It's about who had the most impact; not whether they did the most good. Hitler was named Man of the Year once!" Must've started drinking early today.

Oh yeah no doubt about that, and not to mention how Sonic is helping out a small town cop who is portrayed as a good guy.

And not only is that small town cop one of the Mayoghoulen, Sonic has the nerve to tell him that living in a small town and helping them out is superior to living in the big city!

Given how Tom wanted to move to San Francisco, Sonic was completely correct. Tom was better off in Green Hills than he was ticketing homeless people for public defecation in front of the Trans-America Tower.

The funny thing about Bob's complaints about Elon Musk is that Musk accomplishes more in a single afternoon than Bob does in an entire year. I don't think Musk is a super-genius, but he is investing in technologies that will bring the world closer to Bob's vaunted Superiah Fooucha™. Something you would think would make Bob happy, but no. Bob has to believe that big daddy government (via NASA) and the Walt Disney Company will usher it in.

As if Bob knows that.

You know who was voted by the public as Person of the Year?

Yes sir, my prez Jair Bolsonaro. I wish he was actually the one inducted as the Person of the Year, if only so I could see the humanoid glob of gelatine tear his asshole apart.

Matter of fact, I'm glad he actually didn't use the "Hitler and Stalin were also elected" joker argument.

And by the latest tweet's arguments, you could say that by avowed anti-vaxxer and coof denier Ted Nugent.

I'd love it if one of Bob's movie pitches got produced, 100% faithful to his original vision. He's so far removed from normal human behavior or thinking that any story or characters he come up with will be amazingly bad. Take all the worst parts of Last Jedi, put them in the last season of Game of Thrones and then merge all of that with Sonichu and My Immortal.

In fact, let's make a comprehensive list of stuff he's pitched, seriously or semi-jokingly. All I can remember off the top of my head is his Reversed Terminator and his idea for a Hamilton-style rap musical about the life of Karl Marx.

So it'll be basically the live-action Cowboy Bebop.

I am not sure thats true. Sonic 3 has Mushroom Hill. Which I recall is where the movie ends. I mean it could be Mario. But that movie was legit for Sonic spergs

Eh, not even that I'd say, live-action Bebop's issue was a different beast compared to Bobo's nutyness.

*shrug* No idea, either way fat boy saw it as a dig at Mario and it made him boil with anger.

A year? That's exceedingly generous of you. Try an entire lifetime; nay, lifetimes.

"Kind of"? I'd say there's a reason Robert manages to tickle peoples inner A-log something fierce, and I believe it's because his boorish personality, coupled with his extraordinary uselessness, is so very offensive to actually useful, kind and intelligent people of this world, rather than being just a bit offensive.

At any rate, why does Robert and his misbegotten kind despise Elon Musk so? I know it's not just Robert. I remember most people being all over him in admiration just a couple of years ago. What happened? I know that Musk has at least once openly displayed his contempt for modern-day journalism. Is this what made him persona non grata to the political left?
