I've heard it said by some absolute retards, that the ancient astronaut idea is problematic because they view it as racist.

I think I heard fellow cow, Quinton Reviews, made a video on it (specifically as it regards the show Ancient Aliens) and his thesis was that most of these focus on stuff like the pyramids or native shit, not European, therefore its racist. Never mind the fact that Ancient Aliens think literally everything that you don't have photographic evidence of was created by Aliens.

I don't subscribe to the theory, but I have never heard it proposed with racial animus. Just thinking that humanity in general is dumb.

It's neither ineffective (SUPER or otherwise) nor defensive: The potato puffer is an ambush predator.
