Bobby and co. throw another Musky tantrum:

Indeed, if Musk expects to make a dime with Twitter, the first thing he must do is to fire all trannies and queers.

And no, AOC is not Christian Smalls's "family", and she is not your family either, Bobby.

The arrogance of this motherfucker. I think Neil Gaiman said it best. I'm gonna paraphrase here, but you can find the quote. I'll appreciate it. It went something like this. "Don't try to fight the fans. They are best people that know it better than anybody else. And completely changing things is a good way to completely lose them in the process, and ruin your own work."

You can really tell this dipshit really has no respect for the source material, or what it represents to people. No for him, Feige knows what to do, and you dirty fans have no clue what you are talking about. May remind you the highest grossing video game film of all time was made by people who are fans? Or how one of the best Spider-man video game is done by people WHO ARE FANS of the character. If the people doing the project aren't fans of the source material but they are willing to honor it for the sake of doing something good, then that's also perfectly acceptable.

This is purely done to spite fans. To purely stick it to them for going against his god Feige's vision, "How dare these undesirable speak against the genius of Feige." I know it's been said multiple time but Bob is such a corporate cocksucker that any semblance of empathy toward him completely goes off the window when he opens his mouth.

Sonic dropped the same week and btfo the whole film industry, what's Bird's of Prey's excuse?

Simple. He doesn't want to admit it's not a good movie, and people were more into the blue fur than the Harley Quinn film. And doing so would have to give Sonic a W. He rather die than to give his enemies another victory.

Man I don't know if any family without actual physical deformities lost the genetic lottery harder than Clan Chipman.

So just to recap because I think this was one of the more insane exchanges Bob has had.

Yglesias: "Democrats are good, they should try to get votes so they can win elections, like this year, and accomplish good things."
MovieBob: "You're out of touch and living in the past, it's 2022, Democrats should just seize absolute power and exterminate tens of millions of Americans."

Thinker. NOT Believer.
Glenn Greenwald notices the liberal panic too (Greenwald's substack)
View attachment 3180674
In other words, Bob doesn't think the First or Second Amendment should exist, and since they do, they should be completely ignored.

Tulsi Gabbard observes that the most powerful people in America are intent on destroying democracy and free speech; Max Boot is far from alone.
View attachment 3180678
Again, in other words, Bob says that yes, "democracy and free speech must be destroyed" because Elon Musk buying Twitter would somehow infringe on "Good people's right to not get killed by what Conservatives want to do to them" which I guess implies that Bob thinks the government should stop Elon or something I'm not sure exactly what his tweet has to do with Tulsi's other than he saw her username/avatar and immediately got butthurt.

This is the Max Boot tweet that Tulsi was responding to:

I have to say it's sad that these are the only two times Bob is right. Musk worshippers are unbelievably pathetic people since they constantly treat Elon Musk as the next Jesus Christ to boost their coin. As for Mr. Enter, he was really stupid to act like Turning Red should've addressed a post-9/11 world despite the film being from the perspective of Canadian teens.

However, broken clocks are right twice a day and he's kind of a hypocrite since the worship of Musk is no different from Bob's own worship of Disney, Breadtube, and Kevin Feige.

Bob's response to Tulsi is just brilliant. We have to stop being smart and start acting like angry, violent caveman because the conservatives are coming to kill us! We have to regress to primitive, tribal monkey-brain behavior to save ourselves from the out-group's aggression.

Bob not only gave everyone the perfect example of why Tulsi is exactly right, he also perfectly exemplified why Musk needs to either buy Twitter or destroy it. As long as it's used to curate this insane, paranoid alternate caveman reality in the smooth brains of people like Bob, the country will be much worse off.

That fucking XKCD comic again. A friend of mine who'd been a fan since the early days (and is now definitely fan in the past tense, it was either this or the Shillary comic that killed it for him) once showed me something:

The URL to that comic is: https://xkcd.com/1357/
If you take the 5 out, you get a far older strip: https://xkcd.com/137/

It's the complete antithesis, one digit away.

Friend: You should be more careful what you write. Future employers might read it.

Cueball: When did we forget our dreams?

Friend: What?

Cueball: The infinite possibilities each day holds should stagger the mind. The sheer number of experiences I could have is uncountable, breathtaking, and I'm sitting here refreshing my inbox. We live trapped in loops, reliving a few days over and over, and we envision only a handful of paths laid out before us. We see the same things every day, we respond the same way, we think the same thoughts, each day a slight variation on the last, every moment smoothly following the gentle curves of societal norms. We act like if we just get through today, tomorrow our dreams will come back to us.

Cueball: And no, I don't have all the answers. I don't know how to jolt myself into seeing what each moment could become. But I do know one thing: the solution doesn't involve watering down my every little idea and creative impulse for the sake of some day easing my fit into a mold. It doesn't involve tempering my life to better fit someone's expectations. It doesn't involve constantly holding back for fear of shaking things up.

Cueball: This is very important, so I want to say it as clearly as I can:

Cueball: FUCK.
Cueball: THAT.
Cueball: SHIT.

How's that line go? Die the hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain?

Nice try Believer, but Bob is the one being smart here because he is rejecting superstition, he is a Thinker and you are not a person. 21st Century America faces an existential crisis and until all the Believers are permanently eliminated we can't risk the threat of them harming Good People by preventing them from having the SUPERIOR FUTURE they deserve. Once the threat passes then democracy and things like free speech can be restored as Thinkers won't abuse them but until then the danger is simply too great.

Any of the STEM comics seem to be absolutely retarded as they go on and on. Like the forums they used to comb for material don’t exist so they have to steal from reddit.
The SMBC guy is an actual fucking retard when he can’t be swarmy about the university system. His economics thing is amazingly retarded.

No Bob, Kim didn't dress like that because she likes Super Mario RPG. It's impossible for him to not be stupid.
He'd probably claim it was a "joke" if called out on that. That's his go-to when shit like that is pointed out.

I must be SMRT because I understand EXACTLY what Bob is saying here, vis-a-vis AOC. What he's saying is, he is perfectly OK with the fact that she's a scheming opportunist. He WELCOMES his new Machiavellian feminine quasi-socialist overlord. He thinks that an opportunist doing what she's doing, will hasten forth the Soopeeryah Fyootchah and one day AOC will be grinding her kitten heels into the backs of the prostrate, prone, forever-defeated MAGAnaise Ghoulen, whilst instituting :lunacy: wheat and personally handing bob his hard-earned (by Simping) JetPack. Simply put, the MAGAnaiseghoulen are to Bobby what the Muggles are to Voldemort and the Death Eaters, as exemplified by the statue in the Ministry of Magic after the Death Eaters took it over. Muggles, in their rightful place, literally being stood on by Wizards.

IDK man, Bob seems to have had at least as bad, nonsensical, or even worse nuclear hot takes on a bunch of things, so the man in the glass house is clearly throwing stones at Mr. Enter. This isn't to say that Mr. Enter isn't a blue curtain-analyzer, but Bob sure shares that trait, but in spades.

Some :epik: needs to reply to Bob, anytime he either has a nuclear exceptional take on any media property, or criticizing another person for same, with "What upholds the Cinematic Universe? It's blue curtains all the way down, isn't it, Bob?"

"Dude I'm 40."

We got too cocky, kiwibros

Which leads to a question from me to y’all. Those of you more online than me, is Daria a thing out there on Reddit or Kiwifarms or whatnot? I understand that there are lots of sad sack dudes out there who pretend to be in relationships with anime characters. If any of them were teenagers in the 1990s, I’d think they’d all be in love with Daria. Is that true? Even I’ve heard of that “Moviebob” dude; I’d guess he’s obsessed with her, but maybe not? And if not, why not?

There is a Daria reboot in the works right now with the black girl as the main character and this should tell you everything you need to know about the new show. Bob was, of course, all over the reboot.

When I first saw Lesser Brother's tiktok, part of me died. I couldn't believe that a grown man, with a job and family that he's still with, would willingly put that drivel on the internet. Thankfully I've moved past the point of denial and straight to acceptance. Give us more retardation Lesser Brother.

EDIT:

My favorite line.
That was pretty much the alterna-dude attitude right there, and as a bonus, Daria is like The Catcher in the Rye, in that you want to avoid fanboys at all costs.

Everyone over a certain age has read Catcher. It’s probably still required reading in high school, despite being all about White Privilege, because the kind of person who wants to be a high school teacher (no offense to regular reader Ganderson) is the kind of person who deeply identifies with Holden Caulfield.
:story: lol OK champ. I've never actually read Catcher in the Rye. Doesn't Holden get molested by an adult woman?

No, it's even dumber. He hires an older prostitute and instead of fucking her he literally bitches about how his life sucks, no one understands him, and CRAAAAAAAWLING IN MY SIIIIIIIIN! He doesn't even buy the bitch Olive Garden. I hated Catcher, and luckily no English teacher forced me to read it. But I read sections. Holden Caulifield is basically a lefty today: hollowed out, directionless, a drain on society, but HE'S the one who has it all figured out. If only the world would change to suit his tastes.

As for Daria, I haven't seen it. But for some reason it was all over the Internet when I was in my early 20s. If you met a hipster, even odds he'd sperg about how great Daria to sperging about the newest IPA from Assbleed Brewing Company. Apparently it's "witty" and "subversive" which just means the protagonist is some disaffected "outsider" who criticizes the status quo.

I don't recall ever actually meeting someone who really likes Catcher in the Rye but I have come across lots of people who virulently despise people who like Catcher in the Rye. Not that Catcher in the Rye is any good, the best thing about it is Mel Gibson's character being obsessed with it in Conspiracy Theory. I have no idea why it's taught in schools or considered a Great Book but I strongly doubt it has anything to do with white privilege and strongly suspect few if any white people would identify with Caulfield's heavily 1930's heavily New England adventures.

Daria was okay I guess, like Mean Girls, Suburgatory and other things did later I don't really remember it painting Daria as necessarily any better than the rest of the school or her family. I want to say the show even suggested that her vain super popular sister was actually the smarter one taking after their powerful attorney mother but downplayed it to be more popular unlike Daria who felt she was better than everyone. I didn't watch it too much though I admit.

It's taught in schools because the guy who shot John Lennon was a fan so it was banned, so they need to make up for lost time. It should have stayed banned. It's boring and Holden's whining gets old by the second page.
