How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

So, liberal parents don't exist in his eyes?

And oh God, he's turning even more into Dobson.

Tl;dw: Bob asks why the Emoji movie is receiving hatred for being the Emoji movie. Argues that it's about hating on young people for being too attached to their phones.
He went from putting it on his list of movies "That are gonna suck" to white knighting for it. Now I'm wondering who the hell will still take him seriously as a critic after this.

That's assuming he lives that long.

With the 'beetus, hypertension, cardiac issues, and his general shitty lifestyle, Bob's mid-life crisis might have struck him around the age of 25.

On the other hand, he is ornery as fuck, which could lengthen his lifespan.

Do you think Bob's going to go through a mid-life crisis at some point? It'd be amusing to see what he does.
A mid-life crisis requires some degree of self-reflection and thought, I doubt Bob could stop stroking his ego long enough to do that. He could get dragged into one by an external event though, it'd be hilarious if some Mario anniversary was the trigger for him to realise that maybe screeching online and fawning over Mario was perhaps not the best way to spend his time.

I recently remembered a review he did on "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" years back. He called this one guy in the movie an "alpha male trying to establish dominance" because he was pissed at the old man with dementia going into his car and wrecking it.

I remember thinking, "Well Bob, even though he probably didn't know about the old guy's situation, he also needed to get to work. If he couldn't get there, he would lose his job, have no way to feed his family, ect. So it's completely understandable he'd be pissed at him."

Years later, I find him on here and find he's maintaining that black and white view on everything and still looks down on the working man. Can't really say I'm surprised.

I'd say if Mario + Rabbids does better than Super Mario Odyssey, we might see the start of one.

Let's see the checklist for a mid-life crisis:

Attracted to younger women: Probably gets pepper sprayed/police called on.
Gets a sports car: Can't drive, hates sports.
Starts working out: :story:
Trying new things (Bungee jumping, skydiving): Can't leave his basement.

What's his mid-life crisis gonna be, him acting even more like a man-child?

I could see the trend of Social Justice dying down, the attitudes of Gen Z, and the current trend of fans turning on him leading to some sort of crisis for him. He'd either have to admit he never was the "Superior Future" or find some way to dig himself deeper into that hole. Maybe we'll get Existential Crisis Bob.

We sure he isn't already in an existential crisis and him being a bigot on twitter isn't just his way of expressing it?
