Also for a left winger Bob views the working class with a total distaste. Is this sort of attitude common with liberals in the states? Because it makes it a lot more clear how the Republicans have won them over despite offering next to nothing in practical benefits?

I havnt really seen it in in the UK, I'm pretty heavily involved in local politics and the Labour party the closest I've seen is one of our guys expressing distaste for homophobes. Maybe further up the ranks it's different but the local guys are so warm and fuzzy they sent the Conservative candidate a get well card when she was attacked by a guard dog on campaign.
Not that there arnt some right nasty cunts on the left (graham lineham obviously) but elitism seems to be way off. Looking at my emails today has a request to go clean up local garbage in poorer area's by our local mp and apparently the local councilors are up for it.

Start looking at those in university or recently graduated. They're in literal shock so many of the blue collar working class voted leave; always saying how now those same voters have fucked themselves because they can't go get jobs in mainland Europe. Hint: If there were so many damn jobs in mainland Europe; why was the ratio of EU citizens (mostly from the poorer former Eastern Bloc countries, where average monthly wages are hovering around $400) coming into the UK so much greater than those leaving the UK for the supposed greener pastures in mainland Europe? Answer: Because those jobs in the mainland EU are myths.

Those kids are in for a real shock when they discover their supposed job filled utopia of the EU has entire countries going bankrupt (Greece, Spain and Italy right behind it), and that every EU country doesn't even have enough jobs for their own graduating kids in their chosen fields, let alone a bunch of Brits coming over.
