Those are electric candles boomers and Silent Generation people put in the windows at Christmas time. Not sure if it's a New England thing or if the whole country did it, but I've only seen it in New England.

I'm familiar with electric candles but the ones I am familiar with are red with five candles, they're Advent Candles. My granny (Greatest Generation) had them for absolute eons and we have them now, and just screw the bulbs in loosely and screw one in tightly the first week to signify first week of Advent, do the same with all the other weeks, and the fifth candle is for Christmas Day. (And yes, we put them away after New Years', we don't keep them up all year lol.) Dunno about three candle ones as I have never seen them. I guess since @Marshal Mannerheim didn't recognize them that they're not a Catholic thing, or at least not Bongland Catholic. Definitely not Trump's Chosen because IIRC menorah have 8 candles.

There's various paths to hoarding. One of which is, someone somewhere down the line grew up in abject want (whether poverty or cheap/stingy parents) and gets all the things they didn't have as kids because they can now. The other, is having abusive narcissistic/narc-enabler-codependent parents who randomly and maliciously get rid of or destroy a child (usually scapegoat, not usually the Golden Child)'s items so that the child is traumatized to the point where once they are free of the narc parent influence and control, go absolutely insane and buy things constantly for fear that somehow someday it'll all disappear so they keep buying and buying. There's other factors, of course, and it wouldn't surprise me if some variety of genetically influenced Cluster B Clusterfuck personality disorder is rampant in the Chipman clan. It can be learned, of course; however it's not a straight line to that in that some people rebel against the status quo so whether a person who's lived in a hoarding situation will either reject or wholeheartedly embrace hoarding is kind of a crapshoot.

The top number on the Y axis is 1.5, the next two down are 1.0 and 0.5, respectively. The blue line sits just below 0.5 while the red line sits halfway about 1.0. That's literally a total difference of <1, its just illustrated to look like a giant major gap so gullible pseudo-intellectuals like Bob will just take it at face value!
