Bob stayed up till almost 4 in the morning , wrestling with himself in the depths of thought and Lynn, when finally...it came to him!
10-06-21 Bob has never twisted anybody's words before.PNG

Bob has never been guilty of such a thing in his 40 years of existence. Never. He is innocent and ready to be sullied by all the ladies and "ladies". * hand on face emoji*

Paedos in the clergy isn't why Quebec is a secular society. The short answer is that the Catholic Church backed the wrong side of Quebec politics in the 1950's and this came back to bite the Church in the ass later. The long answer is that:
1) In the 1940's, Quebec was a very Catholic society and was governed by the Union nationale (National Union) party, which was led by Maurice Duplessis. The National Union supported the Catholic Church and vice versa - it passed laws against Jehovah's Witnesses in Quebec, let the Church run hospitals and schools, and cracked down on left-wing parties in Quebec.
2) The National Union didn't see any problem with Anglos refusing to speak French in Quebec, which is something the Québecois take very seriously. When Anglo businesses mistreated their Francophone workers, he took those businesses' side.
3) Duplessis was pretty corrupt and often bought votes for the National Union. He refused to build a bridge in a town until they elected a National Union MP, and ridings that voted for the Liberal Party basically got no government money.
4) In 1959 Duplessis died in office and his successor, Paul Sauvé, died just after him. This meant that the Liberals won the 1960 election.
5) The Liberal Party nationalised Church-run hospitals and schools and repealed lots of the socially conservative laws Duplessis introduced. This was one of the main things that caused the Quiet Revolution (the secularisation of Quebec society) and because the Catholic Church had supported the Duplessis government, it lost a lot of support after the Quiet Revolution.

I was watching Ultraman and this came up and it immediately made me think of Bob’s space fetish.

I was going through some of my old files trying to organize and clean up when I stumbled on this ol' chestnut. I'm sorry I don't remember who posted this and I think it's been more than a year since it was posted. I also don't know when he said this but given the lack of the million edits I think it's one of his earlier ones.

Owed. He was owed them rockets. Damn you all! Damn you all to Hell!

Defending space exploration against charges that it wastes money better spent on social programs is a perfectly defensible position, albeit one generally more on the right (or at least it was during NASA's heyday; hippies and no-nuke types hated the space program with a passion). Where it gets deeply weird is where Bob starts bitching about not feeling the need to show the world any kindness, since it never showed any to him. Forget the debates on why Bob hates Republicans. It's really a red ants / black ants question to him. Animus, envy, and spite are his motivating forces -- he'll hate whomever he blames for his problems, and wish the worst on them while feeling justified in doing so.

I was reading this blog essay about Political Correctness by Bruce Charlton and I came across a passage that I feel pertains to Bob:

Whence comes the sheer venom of PC? How is it that people who believe in nothing (or, if they believe in anything, it is supposedly in tolerance, pacifism, ‘relativism’, social constructionism…stuff like that) - how come these people are so vicious?

I think it is because they fear that their own pleasurable distractions – their lifestyle choices - will be constrained or even taken-away by the opponents of PC.
And for the PC, pleasurable distraction is life itself.

I say this without a shred of exaggeration.

If you believe in nothing, if life can have no real objective meaning and all is socially constructed; then pleasure is absolutely necessary as an analgesic, and distraction is the primary philosophical argument.

The politically correct are nihilists, that is reality-deniers, and when there is no reality then the only positive is pleasure.

It then goes on to say that novelty-seeking is part of this (basically ratcheting up to ever more extreme behavior since existing activities get boring fast.) This would explain why Bob needs more capeshit and new Mario games. It's the only thing that distracts him from the fact that his life is meaningless and that mortality will soon take him away from the things that he loves. It's the real reason he's into the Superior Future stuff - not just as a novel distraction, but as a lifeline into achieving physical immortality so he can consoom forever...
Reading even more in context...

I think you're spot on.

"without pleasurable distraction modernity will be confronted by the void, and for the nihilist the void is no joke, but is indeed the only reality"

Ohayou gozaimasu onii-chan kawaii desu yo!

There, I just belted out a weebspeak sentence more coherent than will ever be emitted from Bobby's blowhole.
I'm sorry, my conversational Proto-Indo-European hasn't received a workout since I was a boy crafting weapons of bronze on the steppes by the Caspian Sea, I didn't quite catch that last line.
Chris did a lot of workout:

Definitely a case of Bobbo throwing the baby out with the bath water when it came to his rejection of Christianity/Catholicism. Jesus said to Love Your Enemies and Bob was like 'FUCK NO, ENEMIES CAUSE HARM TO MUHNORITIES, THEY NEED TO BE STOMPED INTO PASTE! Loving your enemies makes no goddamn sense therefore christianity is wrong and God doesn't reals!'

I said it before and I'll say it again, it's likely Bob's eternal punishment (being bob) will consist of unending torture of Bing Bing Wahoo, that Bob will never be able to complete, with him being mario and falling into Lava as demons poke him with tridents to get him to make an impossible jump. Or alternately, Bowser will stomp him into paste forever.

And exactly how was Bob wronged? What unkindness was done to Bob that makes him wanting to burn the world? He has never explained this other in grandiose and unspecific terms. Let us look at what didn't happen to Bob:

He wasn't trafficked and made into a molested cat boy mule.
His dad didn't beat him or diddle him.
His mom didn't beat him or diddle him.
His priest didn't beat him or diddle him.
He's wasn't the elephant man and shunned and hidden away as a kid.
He wasn't trapped in some civil conflict and saw the worst of humanity.
He didn't suffer through an irl version of Come and See.
He wasn't on government assistance and having to poach rabbits to hopefully have meat in the kitchen and going hungry when the hunt didn't work out, all the while being mocked by bank managers.
His castle wasn't gleefully burnt down with his whole family in it by the citizens of Lynn in active revolution against his reign.

He was just a middle class sped that seemingly no one liked, probably because he acted like he was better and smarter than everyone else. I have to imagine that he acted the same way he does now because we can go back ten years and see him spouting out the same drivel. We know from his own book that he was a little shit who tried to out smart his therapist. He's also tweeted about being disappointed that his parents never put him in the advanced or accelerated classes, nevermind his own admission that he got poor grades, because he knew he belonged there and laments at what might have been. There is no evidence that Bob has progressed since childhood besides growing his verbal lexicon which isn't impressive because even I know what lexicon means.

I would love to know what set Bob off to be forever tilting at these windmills but it will probably just turn out that he's an angry sped with delusions of grandeur that is just raging at his own impotence, literally and figuratively.

Bob's travails are the definition of "First World Problems," and entirely self-inflicted.

I think he clearly has some kind of psychological / emotional issues as well, but fucks sake, do something other than self-medicate with booze and porn.

Let us look at what didn't happen to Bob:
Even if one or more of those things had happened to Robert as a child, he’s an adult now and it’s his responsibility to make his life worthwhile. Nobody owes him shit, and certainly not a nebulous entity he calls “the world.”
I think I’ve mentioned this before, but I know a guy a little older than Robert who was born with Williams Syndrome. He was bullied mercilessly as a kid, and was ill-equipped to defend himself. If anyone has reason to resent the world, it’s him. But he doesn’t. He just lives his simple, beautiful life: works two jobs, has his own house, enjoys plentiful friendships and loves nothing more than trawling a bookstore for gems or going to an aviation or other transport museum. He had even less to work with than Robert, but still managed to make more of his life.

Are we supposed to feel sorry for Robert? Lol no.

Bobby boy has tied his happiness to consooming product, and the destruction of his "enemies." Since he's only capable of one of those, the results get blasted all over his Twitter. A sad, bitter man. Not even worth one's pity, just laughter.

It's amazing to me how very often I can find someone with far more injustice done to them by the universe than was ever done to moviebob, yet they act and demonstrate a greater joy with life than he.

I know we speculate endlessly about Bob's childhood, but it seems to me this is probably the result of being spoiled absolutely rotten. Bob's sense of entitlement, up to and including a Utopian future he "earned," is nothing short of appalling.

And considering his development arrested around age 12, I can only imagine what happened to him to make him fuck up his own life this completely. Whatever it was, it’s way past time for him to seek help and work through it. Spewing bile on Twitter 24/7 isn’t cathartic or therapeutic. Hell, even punching walls like his dipshit brother would be less destructive. (Though Chris should stop flying into violent rages around his children.) What the fuck is wrong with the Chipman family?

These people like Bob, the "enlightened thinkers" willfully give their independent spirit to others, and turn themselves into something similar to NPCs with scripted responses. Shills who do it for free.

Never forget that in your life, you are the player character. Don't let these people dictate shit, they're scripted. They'll bring you down with them. Bob and his ilk? Crabs in a bucket.
Sorry, this one is late, I’ve been pretty busy lately.

But I wanted to say that, A). I completely agree with you, and B). I find something ironic about your statement.

All these ‘enlightened’ and ‘free’ thinkers are always saying how independent they are compared to normies because they don’t conform to societal norms, but the reality is they’re aren’t.

I mean, look at groups like, Goths, Neo-Pagans, feminists, etc. They say they’re independent but an independent person usually doesn’t affiliate themselves with a clique or a political party. BTW, I’m not saying it’s wrong to have a group of friends or people with common interests.

The point is, Bob and his ilk are followers, just like the normies, except they follow whatever practices that aren’t seen as socially acceptable. They’re not independent, they’re rebellious. Which actually fits their teenage mindset.
