Oh man today's starting off strong. Null's getting yelled at by Pam Swain on stream and then I see this and I thought it was a joke...

You'd think I'd learn by now the length, depth and breadth of Bob's dumbness but no.
Someone needs to recreate Shrek is Life Shrek is Love with Bob and Mario.

Gypsies/Roma/Romani were considered a problem in Europe (and still are, to be honest) because of the culture they hold to, which often means fleecing, defrauding, or outright stealing. Now, a "woke" descendant of the Roma/Romani will tell you that they actually have strong laws against stealing. What they won't tell you, is those laws only apply to the Romani community. Outsiders are fair game. The Nazis may have wrongly attributed this to genetics, but the end result is, they didn't want to deal with the moral failings of that population. If Bob was Eastern European, he'd be equating Roma with Drumpf supporters or something, something something they literally stole the soopeeryah fyootchah he earned.
Yeah, anyone who has lived around gypsies knows that they steal from anyone who isn't a gypsy. They also refuse to educate their kids, beat their wives, and on top of it all demand that the government provides them with free campsites and benefits.

I can pretty confidently say that Hitler would get elected in the UK today if he only targeted gypsies and Jehovah's Witnesses.
> robots are too expensive to make and use
> robots will eliminate working-class people's jobs

Pick one.

Jesus Christ, Bob. That's not what people mean when talking about your precious MCU. They're saying because Marvel is running out of heroes to make movies about in addition to the risk of oversaturating the market with at least two movies a year, the MCU could potentially be on its last legs.
Someone actually attached an assault rifle to a robot dog (not Boston Dynamic's Spot though). This heightens people's concern about the role of robotics in the military industry. Strangely, Bobby believes military robots are for show only; they cannot replace human soldiers because they are too expensive to manufacture.

I thought Bob liked the idea of using robots to do physical labor. Why does he view the robo-dog as "showing off"?

Probably because it has a gun attached to it, giving actual credence to all of the people who told Bob "The military's just gonna strap guns on these robots you love so much" and now he's gotta brush it off like it's noting. He can never be wrong and he cannot slow or halt the progress that will one day get him a robot body, no matter how many bodies he needs to use for the mortar of his superior future.

It's amusing, 8 year old me would just see this as an improvement; back then I wanted a robot body WITH guns. I did not see why I'd get my head wired into a technological platform without several ways to deal death being standard.

(Well, OK, lasers. Because reloading is for chumps.)

Adolf Hitler would be an international hero if he exclusively gassed the gypsies. He would have statues everywhere.

I finally saw the trailer for the Eternals today. I can confidently say that it surpassed all of my expectations.

I thought it would look thoroughly mediocre, but it ascended straight into hot garbage. Also, their costumes look like they belong to a generic knockoff Superhero team from a company like The Asylum desperately trying to mooch off of Marvel's fame. Good job!

Also, I've been reorganizing the old bookcase, and deciding what to donate, and spotted "Ready Player One". I got if a few years back from a family member, and holy hell, on reflection it really makes me think of Bob. There's a part where the story just straight up derails so the protagonist can bitch about religion, and then spends the rest of the book venerating 80's pop culture.

I don't remember if Bob said anything about the film, but man does it fit him to a tee.

Bob's always been like this. Despite the attempts to present himself as an educated philosophy king he's constantly caught being his true self: he's a fat Nintendo Fanboy making Deviantart-tier fanworks. From the lost Fanfiction Bob wrote, to the future Mario King idea he posted on twitter a while back, to the blarms he had when Mario was wielding a Mega Man blaster, It's not a surprise at all he would make stuff like this. And this Game Overthinker episode is a perfect example as well.

Game Overthinker Episode 9: Daisy, Daisy.

You can abso-fucking-lutely skip this one because for some reason Bob's audio is extra crusty. I could live with hearing the computer fan but this video will make your ears will bleed.

>Bob plays Mario Kart Wii
>Bob sees the Daisy Circuit
>Daisy Circuit has a Statue
>Statue is of Daisy and Luigi holding hands
>Bob goes OMG DAISY X LUIGI CONFIRMED SQUEE!1!!
>Bob then starts to spew out fanwank theories about the dynamics of romance between two video game characters for the rest of the video

BOB"S LIST OF GREAT OTPs
>Daisy and Luigi are prolly lovey-dovey.
>Peach and Mario prolly act like a royal variant of the old married couple

>Tifa x Cloud should've happened
>Tifa is smart, strong, and nurturing but the bratty emo kid named Cloud over here doesn't want any of that.
>Tifa is practically spreading her legs open for Cloud but he would rather mope and cry about Aerith, the girl he met for only a few minutes.

>And Amy Rose gets it the worst from Sonic. Even Sonic fans don't want her.
>That bitch Sally from the cartoons stole her shtick and fan popularity
>Sally also might be responsible for making some people into furries too.

Bob has no point to this so at the end he addresses three things from his last episode.

-Yes, Africa is a continent not a country, my bad.
-No one thought the Race Bannon Jokes were funny :'[
-Bob's been having Audio issues and the viewers can hear it. He can't guarantee professional quality but promises it wont be "inaudible"

Overall it's not a very fun episode. It's not as funny or intriguing and only highlights how much Bob is a shitty fanfic writer, that wouldn't be bad by itself but remember, he is 27 years old here and and even in 2008, Bob liked to snootily pretend he's far more intelligent than he actually is. The next episode is about GTA and definitely exemplar of how snooty Bob can get.

There is zero chance of robots replacing any manual labor job in Bob's lifetime. In part because he's fat, lazy, and has a terrible diet and so isn't long for this world, but mostly because making a robot capable of doing even a simple task is really, really hard and really, really slow.
And therefore, really expensive. So expensive, it's just cheaper to keep paying an old fashioned person to do it. There's a reason most industrial robots are on an assembly line: the only tasks they're good for is one specific one (weld THIS seam, place THIS part) and the work has to be brought TO them and then moved to the next which also can only perform one single operation. Now, that's a bonus for an assembly line, but anywhere else in the world? It's a crippling weakness with no cheap solution.

The instant you demand dynamic performance of multiple tasks as well as overcoming unforeseen obstacles on demand? The robot fails to be cost-effective . A person working in their kitchen can look over their shoulder and see stuff about to fall off the shelf and into their soup pot, the robot, unless programmed for this eventuality, will not react as the pepper pot falls into the broth and will keep right on stirring and then call the inedible soup a success since it stirred the mess until it hit the "end program" limit.

It's also why modern industrial robots aren't even recognizable as such at first glance: they still look more like just big power tools than anything like BD's fancy (but ultimately useless) mecha-mules.

It's silly that Bob wants (or believes) that the perfect robot will be basically the 1930's sci-fi idea of a robot: the metal-skinned man with big Christmas light bulbs for eyes and beeping antennae for ears shambling about like a stiff Frankenstein, updated to the 21st Century styling aesthetic of glowy blue LEDs and white polymer fairings, but still just shambling about doing menial grunt tasks without question.

(an idea Futurama mocked with the character of Bender, and by extension, all of robo-society that lived in parallel with humanity, duplicating it to the point the robots had vices, delusions and criminal elements of their own, totally defeating the point of robots as tools for human utility)

To him, the BD robodog is superior because it matches his preconceived and erroneous notion of the high-tech movie robot, being, well, high-tech and robotic. That is all that matters, and he's not seeing that the movie robot only has utility because the fictional universe of the story ignores the need for such a robot to actually be able to earn back it's keep in favor of pure "WOW" factor.

In real life, unless you're selling tickets to come see the spectacle of two robots fighting, spectacle doesn't make money. For all it's science-fair "cool" most current humanoid robots have NO functionality in the real world.

The military has consistently evaluated the robot pack mule concept and has consistently rejected it for costing more in batteries and servomotors to do the same thing regular old soldiers can already do with a backpack and MREs while having critical flaws such as being unable to stand back up if pushed over hard enough and being unable to sneak around in the dark without making constant "whirr whirr whirr" noise, at least "obsolete" meat soldiers are capable of stealth by tried and true light and noise discipline tactics....

I never realized how these people were the start of tumblr/twitter, they must be in a relationship because they are friends.

But you know tifaxcloudxaeris is the second form of its been 20fuckingyears.jpeg

There is one trait of Moviebob that he has which is insanely bizarre for someone of his status and how anyone no matter what beliefs they have could hate him easily for which is his classist views where he basically insults poor people all the time and how the rich should have control over all aspects of society
Not entirely true. Moviebob has no problem with rich elitsts controlling everyone's life, but only if their political viewpoints don't stray even one nanometer from his ideal, tyrannical "superiyaa fyuuchaa". Hell, if Moviebob actually did want the rich running his life, wouldn't Bob have LOVED having Donald Trump (and his estimated U.S. $2B net worth) as president?

There was a prominent court case recently where a mother lost the right to see her kid in person (divorced from the husband/father of her kid) because she would not get vaccinated. The judge agreed with the ex that the mom being unvaccinated put the other half of the family at risk, so mom could still zoom call kid/talk on phone, but kid couldn't go to her house, nor could she go there to visit kid, or see her in real life like, at all.

Bob thinks this is perfectly reasonable.
That's something that consistenly irks me. Over the past hour or so, I've been listening to a political podcast, and one of the first talking points mentioned there in related to the great vaccination debate: Vaxxed people are more afraid of the unvaxxed than the other way around. Why the ever-loving FUCK should Moviebob be scornful toward--and openly advocate bioterrorism against (see his Greg Abbott post from March 5, 2021)--politicians outside Massachusetts who oppose requiring masks and forcing their populations into receving innoculations against his will? LITERALLY NONE OF THESE PEOPLE are posing him any direct threat of either physical injury or illness.

As for the eugenics thing, Bob and his hangers-on would say they aren't for eugenics, because they only want to kill off the bigots, which are inferior, which is completely different from wanting to kill off the inferiors of colors/intellect/ability. I guess they think that wanting people to disappear in minecraft/starve in the woods cut off from human settlements/whatever because their deficiencies are moral in nature rather than genetic, doesn't fulfill the textbewk definition of "eugenics". Even though Bobby enthusiastically and hypocritically supports good ol' fashioned 'natural selection'.
When Moviebob's refers to "natural selection", what he really means is "justifiable homicide because my fee-fees got hurt in 2016".

Moviebob IS still a eugenicist, which is a direct result of his advocacy of unconditional fetal abortion.

Also LOL, at the fact that in one of Bob's old vidjas posted earlier, he made a freudian slip about "being enough of a narcissist to x".
Well, Moviebob does love himself some Moviebob, so calling himself a narcissist is a rare display of honesty coming from him...

I thought the audio quality sounded familiar.

Little did Bob know that in their upcoming joint venture, McDonalds and Amazon are going to make another great leap towards the Better Society by replacing Youtube video game commentators with interactive touchscreens.

Bob's problem wasn't with what Trump did, it's that Trump was doing it instead of mommy Hilary.

So, I had the Bechtloff stream downloaded and have been meaning to add it to the thread. I shortened it for @Toxinophile but it wouldn't let me upload the video because it was too big. So, here's the audio of when they talked about Bob instead of the full two hours (If they come back to Bob after this, let me know and I'll upload the full stream to youtube or something).

I'm with Johan van Damme here, what does this mean? Did Robert reply to the wrong thing?

Robert: "I don't want to extinguish large populations of people, this is a made up Marxist-GQP lie about me!"

The best thing about this rant is you can picture Bob hunched over his phone, shaking with rage after seeing a picture of a happy midwestern family. He furiously types out this stream of insanity and then relaxes, proud to have shown twitter what a brave and evolved person he is, confident that the other properly evolved people are looking up to him as a hero brave enough to say what they're afraid to.
