This tard actually thinks that being a pretentious wanker who watches movies is comparable to being a professional athlete.

God damnit. I didn't want to powerlevel, but this tweet is just steaming my hams like nobody's business. Okay, take a gander at the photo below:
20211016_223218.jpg
These are Norton Anthologies. Some of you may recognize them, but most of you won't. That's great! That means you pursued college majors with futures and financial optimism! If you do recognize them, these are *some* of the tomes you carry around when you're knocking out a literature degree. Each one of these fuckers is vandalized on every page with my annotations, dog ears, and multi-colored highlighting. That top one? That's everything Shakespeare ever wrote. I've been through that book so many times that the dust jacket evaporated. As an aside, I'd like to add that my years siphoning earth juice out of the ground paid 20 times what I earned teaching this shit while laboring far less. Friends don't let friends major in English.

I've deconstructed, analyzed, and written about damn near every significant piece of classic literature in the past 500 years. I've forgotten more about story, setting, theme, alliteration, tone, connotation, allusion, plot, and any other form of florid literary faggotry than Bob Chipman's known on his best day. Degrees, certificates, commendations, I've got them all and they're crammed in one of my desk drawers underneath a stack of old Penthouses where they belong.

So, why did I confess to all that? Well, it's because I've suffered through Bob Chipman's analysis and it's shallow, often inaccurate, and frequently plagiarized. I had to lay my credentials on the line to testify as an expert witness.

With all that, I wouldn't dream of floating an arrogant tweet like this. This blowhard doesn't understand that the audience isn't rating the program, they're rating the critics. They've informed critics to eat dicks and Moviebob is double-fisting them with this response.

Given the high-falutin' media on my bookshelf, I could come across as an entertainment snob. Fair enough, but there's something I learned a long time ago when criticizing a piece of art. What is the work attempting to do and did it succeed? It's not about my tastes - Happy Feet isn't for me in any way but that doesn't make it bad. What was it trying to do? Did it do it? Did it get there but in a clunky way? Did it get there at all? Was it wandering around because it didn't know what to do? See, these are questions good critics ask about the media presented instead of moaning hourly that this Batman isn't the version that they think should be the only Batman and scratching off points before the damn thing's released.

In Chappelle's case? The audience expected to hear some humorous insights and have a good time. 99% of them think it succeeded. Why have people turned on critics? Well, evidently these critics approached the work thinking that Dave Chappelle was here to champion trans causes and were furiously disappointed to discover it was an hour of a black man telling jokes instead. And Moviebob sides with these critics. Amazing.

Bob isn't Tom Brady. He's not Elvis Grbac, Kerry Collins, or even Mark Sanchez. He's JaMarcus Russell at his fattest. He's lost twice as many games as he's won and has more picks than TD's.

Tom Brady indeed. The little bitch was on academic probation, fumbling his way through Video Toaster and After Effects at some clown college and categorizes himself with the all-time elites of criticism.

Why does Robert think he's a qualified film critic instead of a "random guy who can click a mouse"?

His own words:
Robert Chipman said:
I was never trained to write reviews for an international audience.

My college degree, officially, describes me as having earned a B.A. in Interactive Multimedia Art with a minor in Film Studies Communications, which essentially means I took painting, drawing and design classes, learned how to convert those skills into digital form and also took a set of film and journalism classes.

Lol this faggot thinks The Batman looks “cheap” yet constantly gargles MCU cock despite their movies being the definition of factory-produced, conveyor belt pablum.

Also, he had this to say when someone responded to him:

It's so childish yet I can easily believe Bob thinks he is making a profound statement there

In his game Overeater vidjas I've noticed Bob uses the word "Introspection" a lot (screenshot not verbalized). I do not think it means what Bob thinks it means. I don't think Bob is capable of any significant degree of it.

These shortbus galaxy-smoothbrained takes of Bob's from like 13 years ago are kinda entertaining in a "what the fuck was Bob thinking" way. But then you remember, Bob doesn't think. Because despite his protests to the contrary, he is NOT a Thinker(tm).

Episode 15 "The Politics of Gaming"

Surprisingly there's no Politicking Rage from Bob in this video. Mic's still crusty though, Skip IMO.

The video is just a list of Bob's fantasies about which video game character would vote for who in the 2008 election. You don't need a video for that, just a simple list will do.

View attachment 2633127

ORIGINALLY POSTED NOVEMBER 27, 2008

PREAMBLE
0:00 intro & shilling
0:30 2008 election talk
0:45 Wow we elected Obama
1:00 Man America has come a long way
1:10 We can finally brag to Europe how we got a black man as president, instead of bragging about WWII like before.
1:15 Those Europoors can shit talk all they want but currently none of them have a prominent black man in power
1:20-1:55 No gaming news for Nov. 2008, not anything important anyway.
1:55-2:38 Bob here describes John McCain as basically an anime protagonist with a Bayonetta look-alike and act-alike by his side.
2:38 Bob talks about liberals and conservatives, in the purest sense, not the kinds of liberals and conservatives that argue about religion and abortion in everyday politics.

PART 1:
Bob defines it like so:
Liberals - want big government
Conservatives - want small government
3:50 "I want it on the record because I don't to get too many bitchy emails for opining that, on a narrative level, gaming has a slightly frequent conservative bent to it... ...I'm talking about broad thematic elements to it."-booob
- for example games are heavily competitive
- for example games LOVE their guns
- 4:36 another example is Final fantasy.
- FF stories like 11 and 10 and 7 are about big bad government vs. small rebels wielding fuckhueg anime guns and weapons
- Actually most game stories are LIBERTARIAN
- As in the kind that believes in the self-dependent man that doesn't want a nanny state or a moral police
-"Basically a Libertarian is a Republican with a brain, or a Democrat with a penis."-Bob, Master of Politics

PART 2: Bob now tells us ask ourselves who and what videogame characters would vote for in the 2008 election.

5:45-8:40 "Now here comes the fun part! How do you think your favorite video game character would vote?"-MovieBob, making politics FUN.
-Don't answer too quickly because Bob wants to show us his list first.

BOB'S LIST
(Street Fighter) Guile - R
(Mappy) Mappy - R
(Guily Gear) Bridget - D
King Dedede - R
Princess Peach - D
(Street Fighter) Cammy - D + Only does it because she's lesbian for Sarah Palin
(Mortal Kombat) Sub-Zero - R
(Mortal Kombat) Scorpion - D
(Street Fighter) T. Hawk - D
Tingle - Voted Nader
Dr. Robotnik - R
Knuckles - D
Meta Knight - Ron Paul

PART 3: The more nuanced part of the list

Mario and Luigi - New York Plumbers that are probably Unionized, they'd vote Democrat

Link - Fairy boy looks like he votes D but he's practically a video game version of Ted Nugent, so Republican

Solid Snake - R reluctantly, otherwise he'd vote for Ron Paul

(Star Fox) Fox McCloud and the gang - R, Bob says the games are essentially TOP GUN but with furries in outer space.

Bob claims Fox McCloud is basically an expy for John Wayne.

(Army of Two) Salem and Rios - R, Bob thinks they're gay actually lovers that are pissed about PROP 8

I wonder where Bob got this particular idea, because I'd like to present these pair of videos.

View attachment 2633129
View attachment 2633131

You decide if they're gay lovers or not.

8:40 Bob is finally done, and then tells us to think more thoughtfully about our personal politics, we might be surprised.
And then points out how in poor taste that Call of Duty: World at War's Cinematic Trailer was released on Veteran's Day.
And then one last Shill for The Escapists
And then one last jab at PETA.
>End
So funny that the seeds of Bobby being a great lolcow were there from the beginning. From my perspective Bob was treated largely with indifference until he went all out to defend Metroid Other M and of course Gamergate.

Who the hell would try to think how Link, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion would vote politically?

Such an insipid, condescending cunt. The personification of constructive criticism right here people. His literary style is punishing, but somehow it's worse when you hear him speaking. This 40 year old man thinks emulating his quippy capeshit makes for riveting discourse. I realise the above is a poor example, but just shut the fuck up every once in a while.

I saw the trailer, I gotta say, I’m not really interested by the looks of the film. But until I see it, I’ll reserve my final judgment.

What did you guys think of the trailer?
I watched part of it. Seems like they're cramming in many parts of Batman, like having Catwoman, The Penguin and Riddler all in one movie? And I think Joker's in there too? As long as they're just side pieces and Riddler is the main villain, I think it'll be good. However I'm not sure about Sean Bean as Alfred. Still, I wasn't sure about him as Ned Stark and he nailed the part, so I'll also wait for the final movie.
Woah, my turn to be incredulous, did he actually say that for real? If so, plz link, I need the laugh.
I posted an MP3 of it a couple of pages back. Don't have a timestamp, but the whole thing is gold. Now, after the podcast was released, Bob did deny everything. But there's just enough truth in there, and so much of it sounds like Bob, that I have no problem believing it's all mostly true. In which case, I want to read that fan fic.

I don't think they have Joker there, it more seems like a street gang that might be working for him or was semi-inspired by him. But, so far it seems it's just Riddler who's the main player, The Penguin is more like a side guy that Batman goes after for probable info.

I'll give Bob this, he has shown in some of these past episodes that he can show the audience a modicum amount of retrospection. That Kirby episode is about as close as you can get for Bob admitting to one of his major character flaws and repenting. He's definitely lost pretty much all of this due to years of rage-brained tweeting and Pabst Blue Ribbon yet in this brief look at Pre-Twitter MovieBob, his 27 year old past self at least knew when he made a mistake and when to own up to it. I'd go as far to say 2008 MovieBob would not have been a Lolcow if he hadn't degenerated so heavily. Despite his Nintendo delusions and conspiracy theories, 2008 Bob was just another z-list movie review youtuber, like all the rest.

MovieBob reminds a lot about the story Linkara/ Lewis Lovehaug. Linkara was a whiny, pervy, and egotistical shithead just like Bob back in the day, but unlike Bob, Linkara was able to keep most of it under wraps and didn't let too much vitriol bleed into his Videos. Lewis was still mostly whiny and egotistical in his content but that content also made him one of the top producers at the TGWTG website. Even all of that, for the longest time people didn't consider him a Lolcow until the Channel Awesome drama happened and all of Lewis' horrible habits and stories got revealed to everyone on Twitter. You gotta wonder with some Lolcows, were they once normal-ish people that became Lolcows of circumstance or were they always little Lolcows to begin with and were destined to become monsters no matter what? I dunno.

But you are ultimately right, if Bob or any other Lolcow could understand in any significantly degree their own problems and what to change they wouldn't be here on KiwiFarms getting laughed at.

I know you're making a rhetorical question but you'd be surprised how many cringy idiots on the internet have just as stupid, if not more retarded ideas like the ones Bob has. The whole of Deviantart and Furraffinity proves it, it's just a matter of finding them out. I know a personal Lolcow of mine, where he basically talks to himself on discord with alts that are named after his female OCs, and like a lot Lolcows has even made his own Wiki about them. Unfortunately, similar to many private discord servers, it's a gaggle of autism confined to only a few dozen or as little as 10 jabronis that are content to chew on the grass and talk to themselves.

The only difference between Lolcows like Bob and rest of the autism rabble are 3 things: Bob knows how to make videos, Bob has garnered a sizeable audience, and Bob takes his autism to twitter in public. All of this overall puts him under a lot more scrutiny, and therefore criticism, than most people get in their entire lives.

I hope that’s the case, too many villains would throw the whole thing off-balance.

Bob was destined to be a lolcow, but the level could have been different.

Let's take Linkara as an example. When Lewis was at CA, he toned down his worse qualities, but then they came out slowly until CTC when he went for broke. What happened? Well, by being a part of CA, he imagined himself as being part of a comic book universe where all the reviewers were characters with their own series, like DC or Marvel, who would crossover and have adventures together. This level of camaraderie, fostered by the heads of CA, meant that he had friends who he talked to regularly and saw at cons. Then, Doug cancelled the Nostalgia Critic, and things started going downhill. Bob on the other hand never had a CA style group of fellow content creators who were also friends. He thought he did over at Escapist, but as we now know, most of them thought he was an idiot. The only person who really wanted him there was Russ Pitts, who got shit canned twice.

Lewis, at one point, had friends. Bob never did.

That isn’t Sean Bean, it is Andy Serkis.
Shit, it is. Fucking hell, what's wrong with me?

Also, now I'm even more concerned. I like Serkis as an actor, but as Alfred? Really? All right, I'll still give it a chance.

The most hilarious thing about Bob is that he thinks film critics and online activists will be first in line for the immortal robot bodies because they do the all important job of brainwashing the masses into thinking the "correct" thoughts. Scientists, medical doctors, engineers, technicians, - who gives a fuck about them? Let them wait their turn. The world needs entertainment criticism before it needs anything else. Truth be told, Chris Chipman deserves to get a robot body long before Bob does, because he's an engineer with an arguably-more- beneficial-to-humanity job than Bob has. Farmers, food service workers, and the mayo ghouls who fix the pipes spewing sewage into Bob's basement apartment are arguably a lot more useful to humanity than Bob is. The guy frying Bob's chicken nuggets deserves to get a robot body long before Bob does. Bob doesn't even produce media - he criticizes it, meaning he'll be even more useless than 99 percent of artistic creators. You have to HAVE art being produced before you need someone around to criticize it.

Bob's like the psychopathic mob hitman who thinks that, just because he attends Mass every weekend, God will overlook all of the rival mobsters and bar owners that he garrotted during his career and let him into Heaven. Bob says and thinks pro-sciency things, so SCIENCE must ride in to save the day for him at the end, right?

Even black holes will evaporate trillions upon trillions of years from now due to Hawking radiation.

Flash fact.
The last bit of "matter" that remains in the universe might be the incredibly rare, unimaginably colossal "atoms" of positronium trillions of trillions of light-years in size. The mutually-orbiting electron and positron will annihilate in 10¹⁴¹ years (Page 43 of paper), while black-hole evaporation is more or less complete in 10¹⁰⁰ years (Page 30)

I shall prevail in the end.

Puzzled? You should be.
