On the subject of Bob's opinion of the Eternals and the Inhumans: I couldn't fucking tell them apart even years ago in the actual comics, and I keep getting both of those groups confused with the Imperial Guard from the X-Men. Just big rosters of second banana superheroes who are usually just side characters in bigger stories/crossovers. The Inhumans at least had Black Bolt, who has a really cool costume and power, but I probably couldn't name any more than two characters from all three groups combined.

Obscure superheroes aren't bad. But making a gigantic, billion-dollar budget movie centered around them isn't appealing to me. The GoTG movies only worked because they had a talented director with an awesome vision.

It brings to mind a quote from Dwight Eisenhower: "An intellectual is a man who takes more words than necessary to tell more than he knows."
"Brevity is the soul of wit."
--From the William Shakespeare (English playwright, 1564-1616) play Hamlet

Given Moviebob's political tirades oft take up at least three Twitter posts (upwards of 840 characters if each is maxed out), multiple run-on sentences, improper homophone usage (it's versus its), and often incorrectly placing punctuation (specifically question marks) within quotation marks, Bob is antonymous with the concepts of wit and intelligence.

A tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Monday: Pro-Muslim!

Tuesday: Rid ourselves of gods!

Does he think Muslim is a skin color? Like the color swatches go African American / Muslim / Spanish or Italian or something / Mayo Ghoul?
Bob's that Atheist who only hates Christians for arbitrary reasons, but will suckle and cuckle down to Islam and other faiths because they're terrified of being called racist... ignoring that Muslim isn't a race.

Also Bob is a literal retarded person who needed to go to a special school and can't and won't think beyond what makes him angy or feel dopamine beyond the minute he gurgles it out.

I honestly believe that Bob hates Christians and their religion because his parents made him wake up early on Sundays to go to church. Seeing the way he thinks, it wouldn't be too off the mark.
Robert hates Christians because none of his priests ever liked him enough to molest him and the nuns called him Tubby Tubby 2x4.

As a guy I follow on Twitter put it:

(CCD is short for "Confraternity of Christian Doctrine". It's basically the Catholic version of Sunday school.)

I will go the extra mile with this and get a little TMI, because if Bob thinks he had it hard with the christian indoctrination, he has nothing compared to me.

I was a church boy when i was very young and i went to a private religious highschool that was operated by a hardcore christian organization. And when i went to college, the place i was staying was religious as well. I could say i had religion looming over me through the most important years of my life. After ending college and i told people about this, they usually looked at me surprised asking how i managed to survive all of that or how i coul be a normal person and not a religious nutjob.

Back then i laughed a lot about all of that but after hitting 30 i mellowed out and i see the point in spirituality and religion. Do i think they are the solution to everything? No. Are they bad? Not at all. Having a modicum of beliefs and spirituality will help you some times, but it's not an instant problem solver. Problem is that Bob, like we all know, still operates and thinks in terms of highschool and early 20 person that thinks he is smarter than everyone and that he cannot be fooled in any way possible. He probably sees all that time he spent in church or religious education as a waste of his youth and he cannot help but being bitter about it. Even after all this time. This is as petty as you can be after so long. Even normal people look back on being bullied and shrugh, but Bob lingers on every single wrong perpetrated against him like it's the most horrible thing that ever happened.

To answer your quote with a quote:
"It is with narrow-souled people as with narrow-necked bottles; the less they have in it, the more noise they make in pouring it out." - Alexander Pope.

He hates Christians because he believes that makes him smarter. Like voting democrat. He thinks it'll make him more popular with the elite that he believes he belongs to.

You want to ask those types what should be done about black or Arab Christians just to see if they lock up.

They'll just mentally flex out of it in my experience. It's the same dishonest non-logic they use that makes Hispanic a race rather than just a culture made up of speaking spanish and being catholic, with subcultures based on how badly Spain fucked up managing that respective colony and killing the natives.

My personal joke (that sometimes grates on my fellow atheists) is that atheism is a brain abnormality.

People seem to, by and large, need something bigger to believe in; that wonderful something that came before and will endure after and they can be a part of and will keep part of them alive forever. It's a fundamental desire to belong, almost as fundamental as a desire to be loved. So atheists are either people free of that particular standard piece of wetware (and not having something that it is normal to have is definitionally abnormal) or are fuck-your-god-dad types who invariably replace religion with something that is just a religion in a "rational" skinsuit while denying they are doing it. Trading the stability of an established religion for the chaos and hostility of a cult/social justice cabal/Marxist revolutionary cell (but I repeat myself) just to lie to yourself about what you're doing is so damn stupid I can't help but think anyone who goes for it has some screws loose.

So, either way, abnormal.

Either that or he was too distracted playing his game boy during church and didn’t pay attention to what the priest was saying.

Just like his high school teachers and college professors.

The most diehard of atheists somehow managed to exceptionally make their lack of belief into a belief itself. It sounds hokey, but that's the kind of behavior I've observed the likes of TJ and Dawkins built up.

And to add to your rant, let us not forget that Internet Atheism is the direct progenitor of all internet Lolcows

No. Not at all, actually. Internet Atheism might have given pseudo-intellectuals with sub 80 IQs a way to feel smugly superior to other people despite having no actual accomplishments, but lolcows existed WAY before it started getting big, and not everyone who's a lolcow falls under it. You'd have to make some massive stretches to try to argue that.

It reminds me of the one guy on /cow/ who sperged about how there should never ever be a right-wing lolcow thread because he genuinely believed ALL lolcows were left-wingers, even severely disabled people with downs. It was stupid, bizarre and nobody thought it made any sense, but he kept insisting on it over and over until we finally had to ban him for derailing.

lolno. Gonterman and other autists of lolcow past would like to remind you that their want to be inside Sailor Moon as a Digimon or whatever predates them by a good while.

Worth remembering that ur-lolcow of lolcows, Chris-chan himself, is currently claiming to be Jesus Christ come again.
