Bob is a fucking imbecile for giving this an 8 out of 10. If ANY other studio made this, and there was a less diverse cast, he would be ripping it to shreds.

It's the worst MCU movie BY FAR. It's not even close. I'd watch Thor 2 twice before watching this again. Watching Thor 2 twice would probably not even be as long as this fucking slog.

I'd have to disagree. The script was a complete fucking mess and there were way too many characters, but I'd take Eternals and their dozen plots over Thor 2 and it's half a plot. At least everyone here has a defined win condition.

That said, Bob is retarded if he thinks it's deep. The basic question is a trolley problem, and even that has to get forced by script fiat. I can't even begin to imagine what "esoteric philosophy" he imagines is in there. The characters struggle with some existential questions (not for long enough because there's fucking 10 of them trying to resolve 2 and a half plotlines in as many hours Christ this needed to be a TV show) but the actual conflicts, once revealed, are incredibly straightforward.

Honestly, even leaving the breeding aspect off, the fact that he's made it this far is a demonstration that natural selection no longer works on humans. If he wasn't living in a society that has massive safety nets and people with so much disposable resources they can dispose of it on him, he would not be upright. I mean, can you imagine him living in a world where humans aren't the apex? What's he going to do if one of his MAGA-eating dinos doesn't realize it's not supposed to cross the Massachusetts state line?
