If Bob was less of a sped and more of a "media critic and analyst" like he tries to pretend to be, he'd save all of his hate for the sequels, which actually objectively are garbage films. The 2007 film was well-paced, had excellent choreography and direction, and most importantly of all took the inherently ridiculous concept of warring factions of alien robots that turn into everyday vehicles and made it seem halfway plausible.

I vaguely remembered Bob thirstposting over Megan Fox in Bayformers, am I just imagining that as some sort of cholesterol-tinged Mandela effect? That being said there is no way he would ever profess to liking anything by Michael Bay even if it tickled all of his guilty pleasure boxes, the woke crowds he desperately seeks validation from would never approve.

It's both. He wanted to fuck Fox, saw all the hate she was getting and went overboard while trying to be cool. Which is hilarious because if you were around back then, you knew it was only the media trying to push Fox as the new Angelina Jolie, no one online was that into her, or thought other women were more attractive. But Bob believes the tabloids and so was convinced every worthless nerd out there was beating it whenever she came on screen in Bayformers.
And he did admit to liking some of it. I think it was in an Escapist video he did before he was fired, which led to the infamous three-part "Wah, why didn't Kevin Smith live up to my expectations?" series.
You can't convince Conservatives to stop being conservatives, we'll have no one to blame our problems on.

Bob, if you want to build a party that's based off your ideas, then go for it. I can guarantee you that far more people will support patriotic socialism than your genocidal ramblings.
Heck, part of the appeal of right-wing populist parties in Europe was that they were "patriotic socialists". AfD in Germany supported increasing benefits. UKIP here in Bongland supported cutting taxes for the working class. I would vote for a patriotic socialist party over anything Moviebob or his ilk could dream up.

In regards to the purported DCEU reboot, Grace Randolph claimed that Supergirl and Batgirl are part of a new DC trinity. That would be a death kneel for the franchise as the audience doesn't want a more expensive version of the CW's Arrowverse.
