Hate to be the wet blanket, but don't expect the Ellis incident to strike anytime soon, Robert is an idiot who lost his beloved spot at a digital magazine twice for being unable to shut the fuck up, but this shit with Lindsay Ellis shook him to his core to the point I don't think it is far fetched to say he has a trauma over it.

Since then he slowed down with the simping considerably. Sometimes he re-tweets or makes some vague support tweet to some girl, but Robert has been keeping a lot more distance now. He still likes to act as if some chick is also a youtuber that talks pop-culture shit, she is one of his "mutuals", and he still hasn't given up on this ridiculous notion, but Robert has been keeping more to himself.

And that's another thing on why we might not see a lot of new drama from the fat boy as well, Robert is alone. He doesn't interact much with anyone of notice, it is always some rando troon, or some retard trying to dunk on him and even some nobody commies. Anyone with a considerable following either has Robert blocked or completely ignores the guy, you can't get drama out of a vacuum.

And yes, Robert writes for that Matpat fag, and sure as fuck Robert likes to remind people on how he is part of a million + hits video and how is isn't a tottaly wash up. So one day we might expect Matpat to call Robert out on some shit and kick him out, which would be funny, but I don't see that happening. Robert puffs his chest to talk about he is a writer for a 10+ million subs channel, but we know he just wikipedia marvel shit for Matpat and his team are the one who do the writting for the episode, and aside from a plug on his twitter, Robert tends to keep his shit away from Matpat.

So if you just wanna watch a popular youtube video, you would never know who "Moviebob" is and what his shit is about, because he never got a credit in video, only in description. Moviebob is really there because no one on Matpat's team can be bothered with Marvel minutia. It is cool to pretend you know some obscure character from the 70's that might show up, but no one wants to actually read the comics.

So yeah, Robert is stuck in a place that doesn't leave him much space for feuds and drama. All that is left is political sperg out or him beefing with some other critics over capeshit, till then, it is either marvel bullshit or "thinkers VS believers" crap.

One of the lesser touched upon things in bob armchair psychology is his utter lack of ambition. Any time he gets some meager success he just putters about doing the same old shit. If he ever wanted to break into the industry he would have had to make moves a long time ago. Even now he doesn't update his format or pursue any new ideas with the zeal needed to get them to take off. I think he is comfy just being a part of the overall discussion, since anything else would require much more talent than he has.
