It's a meme that a bunch of popular accounts that Bob likely hate follows to hate tweet at have been participating in. I think some people legitimately are posting them as pickup scenarios but there's also lots of people across the political spectrum from real leftist to Trump conservative to dreaded centrists to random gay dudes who have been doing them mockingly. There was an account that was retweeting the scenarios but changing the pictures to random animals as the entire joke. Lots of people post timeless references like "I put on my wizard hat and robe" or whatever. Lots of them make jokes like you did.

Bob, of course, thinking it will get him laid instead humorlessly objects to the entire notion and straight forwardly lectures the "bad man" even though most feminist women would likely prefer someone with a sense of humor who can criticize it through a joke.

I think this was an attempt on Bob's part to go "Haha Trump is married to someone MY AGE LOL GROSS" because the crayon eating exceptional individual mistook his daughter for his wife (or his EX-wife, LOL) and forgets that Trump's actual current wife's name is MELANIA.

Either that, or he's taking the "they'll go after children" quote out of context and assuming she means HER and she's not a child so wtf is she talking about.

I wouldn't call it a perfect comparison it to Jussie Smolett because children did die at the residential schools (most often to disease), but it's a nuanced issue. The trouble is that Canadians hate nuance and tend to react to everything without waiting for the facts because this self-flagellation has become a creepy ritual that "progressive" left forced on us. Bob similarly hates nuance as evidenced by his binary thinking (e.g thinkers vs believers, Evolved America vs the Wasteland) and partakes in the ritual to demonstrate how enlightened he is. Chris is the exact same way as he used Meatloaf's death to pontificate about the virtues of wearing the mask and vaccinations, despite mounting evidence of their ineffectiveness. The dumb bastard believes that he is a superhero for parroting the same narrative the establishment force fed the pub for two years. What neither of them really want to acknowledge is that their efforts have been insubstantial. For all the public wailing that "every child matters" in Canada, there is no real will for policy change regarding First Nations' relations among the Laurentian elite.

I've heard Lucas's name before, probably from an Oneyplays compilation, but I never knew anything about him. It's a little unnerving how with just a little bit of tweaking and give him a thesaurus to make that prose really purple it would really difficult to tell some of these from Bob's ramblings.

That's fair. The whole thing just pisses me off. Even I kinda bought the story, mainly because I don't have a dog in this fight and who would lie about a mass grave of over 200 children? Evidently she would. Forgive me as I'm not a leaf so I don't know the news in the great white north but was Laurn Southern right in saying that there's been a bunch of church burnings because of the mass grave thing? Even if it's not as bad as she made it out to be the fact that some innocent people had their building burnt down because of a lie is incredible. What's more is that nothing will happen to the arsonists. There will be no apology given to those affected. This will all be memory holed by the next thing outrage save for Bob who I have no problem believing he'll use this as a cudgel against #believers(TM).

Yes there absolutely have been church burnings as a result of the graves thing. Most however, were by opportunistic fedora-tipping euphoric white-knighting white/non-indigenous SJW types who hate Christianity. The Lytton fire (that destroyed an entire town) was deliberately set near a church.

Some of these morons (obviously not indigenous) burnt churches that had NOTHING to do with Residential Schools, like a Vietnamese CHurch and a Coptic (Egyptian) Church, in BC.

Notably, in retaliation, on the Malahat summit, someone tried to burn down a totem pole and wrote "1 burnt church = 1 burnt totem pole".
