That said, I do have my doubts about it's authenticity: the spelling and grammar appear correct, and it's a series of concise sentences in contrast to Bob's typical run-on sprawl and tendency to stretch one banal thought across half a dozen tweets in a fatuous attempt to look like an intellectual.

Also "The real Daria" which, I'm assuming he just means the titular character was funny. I liked the show when I watched it, and a big point of the show was that a lot of Daria's problems were self inflicted, because despite all her sarcasm, by trying to hold everyone to these ultra high standards, she failed at them just as much herself, and she alienated a lot of the people in her life. That was the point and part of the later seasons were about how she needed to learn, grow, and let people in.
Saying the character wasn't smart, is ironically enough, a completely retarded take. She excels in her schoolwork, and is shown to be someone with a good amount of knowledge of literature and most topics, with a quick wit. It's literally a plot point that most of her problems are not academic but as a result of her personality.
I guarantee Arthur was nothing like Daria, because he seems like a drooling moron. I assume, given that Blobert retweeted he agrees with Chu's take. As further evidence, his Magneto Was Right video goes a long way to show how firmly Bob's head is lodged up his ass, believing he was belittled for his superiority, and not his lovely personality. The character from Daria I'd say Bob is closest to would be Upchuck.
