For Moviebob, hypocrisy and doublethink take up around 40-80% of his everyday mindset. A great example comes to mind is whenever Bob waxes philosophy in his Game Overthinker series. One video he asks if whether or not video games will matter or be remembered by time. Another video he would gaze longingly into his navel to question if games can be enjoyed even if the game author has disagreeable opinions. Basic Introspection is cute and quaint for a man in his then late 20s, but unfortunately for Bob these three episodes make it clear he never took any of it to heart.

No, I don't know what's up with the glitches or the bitrate on these videos. Each of them all have this weirdass-custom resolution to them so I'm guessing Bob was trying to save space on his hard drive or something. It's a bit annoying trying to fiddle with export settings all because of Bob's wonky ass videos.

Episode 30 is lost to time because Bob had loads of crap uploaded on ScrewAttack's defunct website. It was about Modern Warfare 2 and New Super Mario Brothers Wii. This minute and a half segment of sheer consolefagging is all that's immediately available. Also Bob is a confirmed Waluigi hater.

More consolefagging and a fat dollop of Nostalgiafagging included. Most assuredly Bob is talking out of his ass since it's confirmed in this video he owns only two games for his Xbox 360 and it's unlikely he's rented an NFL game in his entire life.

TL;DW; In episode 29, Bobs explains Jungian philosophy, Zelda continuity, and Campbell's monomyth. Unfortunately Bob is too stupid to fully realize these ideals and his vitriolic, tribal nature makes him a hypocrite. By the next two episodes he's back on the gamer battlefield participating in his personal console wars against the dudebros that like Call of Duty and Madden NFL.

What really raises my brow about these three episodes is that while Bob readily applies the monomyth perspective onto Zelda but turns a blind eye to Call of duty and Madden NFL. If the monomyth truly applied here then Call of Duty and Madden NFL can easily be described as modern retellings about our ancestor's stories of war and contest. I guess those are lesser monomyths since they don't involve a hero, a maiden, a monster, and a Nintendo console.

Ukraine was historically part of the Russian Empire, has an ethnic Russian population which Putin claims was being repressed by Kiev, and would pose a threat to Russia if it were to join NATO. None of these apply to Poland. (Technically some of Poland was part of the Russian Empire, but Ukraine was far more intergrated into the Empire while Poland was a nominally seperate entity with some autonomy, like the Grand Duchy of Finland was)

The Baltics are already NATO members so Putin invading them would directly cause WW3, and he can't use the same arguments about persecution of Russians he's used in the Ukraine because ethnic Russians in the Baltics aren't subject to any repression. Putin isn't an ultranationalist unlike, say, Zhirinovsky - he's a pragmatist who knows he has no reason to go after the Baltics beyond "they were part of Russia once" and so he won't invade them.

Russia won't fall apart because there is no real separatist sentiment in Russia. The only exception I can think of to that would be Chechnya, but it's mostly loyal to Kadyrov and Putin and in any case China doesn't want to fund Islamist seperatists because it doesn't want the Uighurs getting any ideas. If you want to pretend that Russia is a Chinese puppet state - which it isn't - then there's no reason for China to destabilise Russia; if the current Russian government works for the benefit of China then why would China want to get rid of it?

China's interests in Taiwan are different to China's interests in Russia. Beijing sees Taiwan as a province of China in the same way Russia sees Crimea as an integral part of Russia. The same isn't true for Russia. I'm going to repeat myself here, but neither China nor Russia are Saturday morning cartoon villains that want to take over the world for shits and giggles. Putin and Xi both have agendas that could be described as imperialist, sure, but so does Biden and I don't see headlines on RT.com screaming about how America wants to annex Mexico.
