Bob is a stellar example of what a lack of critical thinking does. His "reflections" are strictly limited to rejecting everything the people he hates are saying, finding horseshit "data" to support his delusional positions (that are below the average 12 year old's reasoning, as only even less mature and poorly behaving children say that people who they dislike should die off like that) and scoffing at and dismissing every single point that isn't in strict agreement with him, showing limited sympathy to positions he accepts and visceral hatred for his opponents. Hilariously enough, Bob doesn't realize he is much closer to the worst of the "Obsolete, MAGAtrash believers", like Nick Fuentes, than he is to moderate and even progressive Democrats (people he considers as thinkers) by his own fucking logic!

I think Bob is backing off his guarantee that this 2024 Hulk-Wolverine movie is going to be announced on Saturday. But he's still promising the film, that they just won't announce until later after they start filming, and now mashing it up with some other shit and taking the name of a separate story "World War Hulk" for it. And guaranteeing that Hugh Jackman will be involved, which he gleamed from a Twitter announcement that other Marvel movies are now appearing on Disney+.
And the saddest thing is, he genuinely believes that was actually a good use of his time because he got a career in film criticism. When in reality, if he'd actually done a film degree, he'd be more relevant to the current landscape.

IIRC it's not just "fanon". Lesser Brother admitted in a tweet not that long ago about growing up with (at least one) Alcoholic(s). During my final Calculus exam, I literally forgot how to do the equations, despite having done them a gazillion times. I ended up getting exactly none of them right. To be fair, I had an illness (which had suddenly got way worse) that was causing memory issues.
Anyone who has these opinions of these pieces of media isn't a contrarian. They are stupid. I don't say that because I've analyzed every single hot take because everything they say can be dismissed as the babbling of a smoof brayn ear chewer with their description of 2003's Oldboy. It's not them saying that viewers only care about the fight scenes. It's not them that white dudes only enjoy this movie because it somehow makes them not racist. It's that the first thing out of their mouth is "The movie warns of the damage that slut-shaming can do". I don't even know how you watch that movie in it's entirety and walk away saying "wow slut-shaming am bad". The movie's message is you should not seek revenge because you will never be satisfied and it does not work out. The characters almost say that directly into the camera. We don't even find out about the, and I put this in quotes because it's an incredibly loose interpretation of what happened, "slut-shaming" until over half way through the movie and Oh Dae-su, the main character, wasn't even the one who participated in it. I don't want to spoil a movie that's almost 20 years old at this point because it is a genuinely excellent movie. It is a hard watch but I believe it is worth the watch.
