(And yes, I channeled Bob for that abortion of a run-on sentence, lul) And do you know why? Knowing a shit ton of trivia about an industry is NOT the same as understanding it. If Bob truly understood the industry, he wouldn't place so much "blame" on Zaslav for the existence of at least two top rated TLC shows of their day and use that as a point of ridicule and expectation of things to come at Warner Discovery, instead of seeing it for what it is: success, in any form, is still success. There's common-sense ways of doing things, and there's common-sense paths for things to take. Bob's guesses on which comic books are going to be fodder for film and which characters are going to do what isn't that much of a prediction, because it's expected that movie producers would at various points go back to different parts of the source material, but even then he's not always right.

ALL he thinks he needs to understand is his industry and how it works (other than claiming to understand politics as well) - he doesn't have to understand math, resource extraction, growing food, etc, because one day machines will do it all for him. Calculators already do math for him, so why should he, the Thinker have to? Irony, amirite?

Some should tell Bob, "Believers rely on Calculators, Bob. Thinkers don't NEED them."

Bob's also a narcissist and autist, so of course he has trouble relating to people or figuring out how to actually befriend people. The only thing he seems to bond with people over is hatred of the MAGAnaiseghoulen, and he couldn't even get the HotDog Abortion on board with that.

Looking at this really struck me. Bobert looks worse physically than my grandpa and he went through heart surgery a couple of months ago.

I don't think Nerdrotic exactly has a feud going with Bob. If anything Bob has a one-sided feud going with Nerdrotic - hell, Bob's probably long since blocked Nerdrotic on twitter, so it's likely Nerdrotic has no fucking clue. I don't think anyone who watches Bob would say to Nerdrotic, "Hey, Moviebob dissed you" and even if there were some who did, I doubt Nerdrotic cares. As far as I can tell, Nerdrotic has never, ever even interacted with Bob. I dunno if MauLer - or hell, Razorfist - knows about this shit, but I guess sooner or later EFAP will stumble upon this beef that Bob has with Nerdrotic.
Bob's beef with "Grifters" is all-encompassing and includes such figures as canadian psychologist Jordan B. Peterson, the aforementioned Nerdrotic (for the crime of disliking bad writing coupled with diversity that doesn't make sense in context), anybody that shills for Crypto currency, youtubers, forum members, podcasters, "social media influencers" (bob air-quotes while saying this), streamers, who have dominated the coverage of the Ezra Miller thing and all that, and who have made being for or against this movie or franchise or actor their 'whole brand'. Also then Bob says, "To the degree that you can call these ... people, now that we know that most of the Snyder Cut thing was mostly bots, but that's a whole other issue" and then goes on to whine about how Elon was supposed to be "on top of this" (getting rid of the bots), "Don't tell me the Tesla Guy was full of shit, too!"

He posts a clip of Nerdrotic saying "This has been the Canadian Truckers and Dutch Farmers of comments sections"

and then a clip of Tucker Carlson criticizing the M&M's character designs

Then Bob goes into an unhinged rant about how the "grifters" are rejoicing because then "THe Snyderverse will be restored again, Ben Affleck will be batman again, Henry Cavill is going to be Superman again (There's been zero evidence that this is the case, but SURE), and Dad's finally going to come back from going out to get cigarettes and going to get back together with Mom... all thanks to based god Emperor David Zaslav ... it's AS sad as the guys who are all over Elon's dick..."

But Bob, as usual, is a crayon-eating, blue-curtain-analyzing exceptional individual. And all his takes on what he thinks the DCEU should be doing, from 2017, are as crayon-eating as they come. Lest we forget, Joss Whedon was supposed to be doing Batgirl, and Bob opined that it probably wouldn't happen. Well, I don't think Joss Whedon made this Batgirl? But it's not getting released. And also the crayon-eating take "Give Wonder woman a girlfriend I can fap to already, It's 2017 and not doing it would make my penis sad"

But the kicker was Bob calling "Swamp Thing = Woke Vegan Goth Hulk". But Bob keeps insisting "Woke" is not a thing!

There were organizations saying they wanted to save that chonky bear, did Bob actually donate to any of them? (Unlike Bob, I looked to see what has since happened: California Fish and Wildlife said they were not going to kill the bear, especially after they found out it was multiple bears doing the damage.)

Netflix started streaming in 2007, Bob's "very first inclination was that the ENTIRE thing was just Uber for Cable", then Uber was founded in 2009, the Uber black car service actually launched in just two cities in 2011 and the Uber ridesharing did not start until 2013.

I really can't fathom where Bob gets this idea that nobody gets royalties from online content, does he not remember the last writers strike at all beyond that it happened? Does he seriously think the rest of the talent is doing worse than the writers in their negotiations to the point of failing completely over the last 14 years? He really thought he knew this so well that he didn't need to check a single thing before yelling about it. Then this complete dipshit Canadian Brother Alpha thinks the "next round of guild negotiations" needs to change things because he for some inexplicable reason believes what Bob says on Twitter about a topic that Bob seems determined to prove he can only get things wrong about while not even accidentally getting things right sometimes.

This is your daily reminder that Bob doesn't understand the industry nearly as much as he believes he does, and neither do his exceptional followers.

I’ve been much too mentally taxed this year to look at Bob, so this is my return to him in a long time…

Is his entire argument really that DC movies will be worse solely because the CEO in charge of the company is from outside the film industry?

This is a moment where I need to power level. I attended a panel with a lot of the people in charge of running adult swim and HBO Max shows. You know what they all said when asked “what do you watch?”
90 Day Fiancé. Literally all of Hollywood was watching that show. I would argue this guy, through this shows, knows exactly what even “sophisticated” audiences wants and doesn’t go out of his way to attack each other. If anything, I trust him more than I’d trust anyone at Disney or paramount right now. That’s not a lot of trust mind you, but it’s slightly more trust.

But you know, seeing Bob bitch about reality tv like it’s The Jersey Shore circa 2009 is hilarious to me. Bob has somehow managed to make himself even more of a dinosaur than when he published his book. This man is still mentally stuck in 2013 since that was the height of his career.
