I've been reading this thread since the Lindsay Ellis affair, and I have to say something I haven't seen anyone bring up before.

I hate it when Bob adds emoji's to the ends of some of his tweets. It's the writing equivalent of the unfunny fatass who laughs at his own jokes and constantly winks at the audience to try to get them to laugh too.

It's a subtle but obnoxious thing he does. I wrap it into his overall terrible writing ability and desperate attempts to seem relatable. It's this funny little smirk emoji responding to you, not some rooster stare afflicted sperg.

Regarding some discussion over the last couple pages, I will be presenting a paper at the First lolcow Metaphysics Conference arguing that Bob's virginity is an universal constant. That if Bob attempts to change this, such as lowering himself to pay a prostitute or maybe raping his mother, the universe will react to prevent it. Even altering the nature of the universe itself to maintain the constant. I look forward to discussing with the Patirck S. Tomlinson Is Fat constant and John Walker Flynt Is Wrong constant researchers about whether or not this constant may be a multiversal one.

I think the most infuriating thing about Bob for me at least is that I used to like him. Back in the early days of gameoverthinker he came across as a harmless schlubby nerd who liked old games and movies a little too much. He reminded me of an adult Chris Griffin essentially. My younger self kinda empathized with that a bit and his first ten or so Gameoverthinker episodes got me thinking about games in a more intellectual perspective.

But good god, sometime around 2011 he lost his fucking marbles. I used to ask myself what changed about him, but looking back now I think this was always Bob. Terminal social media corruption just took the mask off. Seeing what he's become makes me ashamed that I stick up for the dozen or so Gameoverthinker eps.
