I'm puzzled that Bob still has fans, unless they're all really young, sort of how I watched Nostalgia Critic growing up. Then I grew up, and realized that people like Red Letter Media are far more insightful and knowledgeable with what makes a certain movie work or not than people prone to writing "reviews" that are somehow both elitist and juvenile.

Actually, it's when he speculates on future game technology (like built in entertainment machines, or SD cards being an evolution of game cartridges).

I have no doubt that Bob is an SJW tool and rather bad person, however.

There are a lot (a LOT) of really bitter older types in his fanbase. Just yesterday I saw some guy quoting him and his views on high school (paraphrase: "if you enjoyed high school, you're part of the reason I didn't") in the comments of a Game Grumps video. I've seen similar statements elsewhere, in barely relevant posts and videos and whatever. Basically, his audience is people like him. White, fat men who can't let go.

Bob doesnt seem aware that pretty much all the gaming sites are eating crow at the moment, the medium isnt obsolete but the internal problems and rise of youtubers has ensured its reached critical mass. The weird part is bob's attitude and conduct are what led to this sorry state of affairs. Why would a 14 year old want to listen to bob or any of his butt buddies ramble on about niche interests and half baked social musings, when you can watch pewdiepie or some other youtuber provide a light hearted environment where you can access the game you're interested in?

Also that post is shockingly unprofessional. That would stop most plebs getting a job if the company is tech savvy
