The ironic thing is that Matt and Trey don't hate religion and have said so in several interviews.

Seriously. Punching down and no bad tactics, only bad targets is the most asinine thing I ever heard. Some of the greatest comedians of the last 70 years would not have been able to get work if people like Blob here were in control of clubs and theaters.

Yeah, their Mormon episode poked fun at Mormonism, but it was a rather positive look at Mormons. The message of the episode was "Yeah, we think this religion is dumb, but if it works for you and doesn't hurt anyone, then who cares?". They were much less merciful with Scientology, but there is nothing good about that greedy cult.

Most recently, Trey and Matt have said they'll keep doing South Park until Comedy Central cancels them. Considering that it's still one of the channel's highest rated shows, I don't see a cancellation coming on the horizon anytime soon. Poor Bob is just going to have to live with this show continuing to exist, which is hurting him, somehow.

Oh man. I can just imagine the chimpout if they tackle the whole Pepe thing.

Hell, they wrote an entire goddamn musical about the bizarre positivity of Mormonism.

South Park is totally gonna end soon, guys!

Bet you anything this is just his wishful thinking because he hates South Park.

I don't think that will happen. Isaac Hayes quit because they ragged on his religion (Scientology) and they even made an episode VERY loosely based on his leaving the show because of it (Scientology or the idea of how Scientology operates was represented by a group of brainwashing pedophiles). People often mistake Matt and Trey has people who hate religion because they make fun of it. The thing is they've also made fun of atheists and pretty much stated that even if atheism was worldwide humanity would still find arbitrary shit to fight over. The guys just like to make fun of things. They're more likely going to quit out of boredom or because they insist on writing their episodes in small crunches right before they're made which seems to stress them the fuck out.

Bob is just mad because they made fun of his ideology as much as they make fun of everyone else's. He's getting angry over a show where gingers planned to overthrow society and a reoccurring character is a gerbil known for crawling through a gay guy's lower intestine.

Aside from the previously mentioned cancellation or Matt and Trey dying, the show will only end when it gets too stressful or stops being fun for the guys. If they can keep the show going for 20 years while juggling other projects like "Team America: World Police", "The Book of Mormon", or "The Stick of Truth", then I doubt they're going to get bored or burned out anytime soon.

As the episode of Cartman ending up the future showed a world that had three separate atheist groups at war with each other.

The cult forced him to leave as part of their "disconnection" policy. I'm convinced it broke his heart and that's why he died shortly afterwards.

Swear to Godbear, why is it that the most beligerant, outspoken lib-tards get so buttmad over fictional characters? I mean, I know Trump is 90% cartoon, but goddamn. Figure Chips Ahoy would have something more productive to....

...oh wait. Chipman. Nevermind. Just keep pounding away at the at Twitter saltmine, you fat fuck.

Its because they don't understand art as a concept. Art of any kind comes from the culture it exists in, it is a reflection of that culture. You can't change art on its own, to change art you have to change the culture, but that's work so instead they complain about the art.

Considering that The Fractured But Whole has PC Principal in it, I'm sure he'll be plenty butthurt over it too.

There's some back and forth. Culture changes art, and vice versa.

Both just take years, and then, it takes even more time to objectively discern how and why things played out the way they did. Which is intolerable for the NOW NOW NOW folk, never mind the terminally uncreative.

If The Simpsons can still be on after over 10 seasons of questionable quality, I don't think South Park has anything to worry about.

There's a pretty good chance the Beetus will take Bob before it ends anyway, so he shouldn't be worrying about it.

The game isn't even out and some people are already salty as fuck.

I absolutely love how you can immediately tell which two members of Giant Bomb are no-fun buzzkills who nearly ruin any content they're in.

You mean it's not all of them?

I really don't get how these people act. Oooooooh, South Park is going after MY SACRED COWS, so now the show is shit. Bleh.

Weirdly enough, I don't think Bob ever mentioned his lookalike popping up in an episode. Maybe that was just the icing on the cake for him.
Did Bob have a lookalike though (that's not an existing character on the show being humorously compared to him)? I thought that was a photoshop done by Kotaku in Action.

There was a character that kinda-sorta looked like him that was a member of PC Principal's fraternity. Though I'm almost certain it was sheer coincidence than anything.
