Okay Porkchop - here's a breakdown as to why people are laughing at you and your jowl-heavy funnyface.

1) Dark Souls and Skyrim are considered to be two of the most important games to have come out not only in the last 5-6 years, but of the entire previous console generation. If they were more niche titles like trying to tell the difference between the "Tales of..." series if you're not a fan, then that might be understandable. This isn't.

2) The outright smug justification of you not knowing the difference, claiming them to be "the samey-looking grim medieval fantasyscape." First of all, again you bias is showing by the fact that anything with realistic proportions and has shadows must be "grim." Second, it's a sad, pathetic excuse for someone who can't just say "oops, I should've known that, ha ha." No, you have to like like some superior jackass, as if knowing the difference makes a person lesser than you. Granted, at this point they probably are less than you when it comes to the Body-Mass-Index, but I don't think that's what you were flailing for.

To put it another way, that would be like someone saying something like:

"Is that Patrick Stewart or Bryan Cranston? I can't tell, they're just samey looking old bald white guys."

or... tell me if this sounds familiar chucklenuts...

Powerlevelling for a second here, but I feel like making this point about how fucking blind Blobbo is.

I'm not much of a gamer. I'm shit at it. At most, I play nostalgic shit to unwind and that's about it, other than Planetside 2. I've never played a Souls game or an Elder Scrolls game. I've never even sat down and watched somebody else play it. But I know that they're completely different games and I could tell that the game he was seeing was definitely not Dark Souls, and most assuredly Skyrim.

He doesn't know shit about anything that isn't Nintendo.
