I read the article, it's definitely something he would write. According to him the real villains are "the heroes' internal struggles", because according to Blob, you apparently can't create both an internal struggle in the hero and a unique, menacing figure/compelling foil who challenges them in the same movie.

I can't say i'm surprised. Much like Andrew Dobson, MovieBlob can't face the fact that the majority of shit that happens to them is due to their own fuck-ups. Blob can't (and won't) admit that he got canned from the Escapist and ScrewAttack because he couldn't stop sperging about groovygrouse.

That is what has always annoyed me about the MCU that the main antagonist (who sometimes get little screentime that adds to them being one-dimensional) is built up as a big threat and they die.

It's really the combination of Bob's pathetic real life and his elitism that makes him so interesting.
Although his ability to combine technocratic elitism with a rejection of the idea of merit would be funny, even if he weren't a complete mess of a person. Suppose that most humans simply need to be ruled over--without their consent of course. Further, suppose that the rulers should not be chosen by their ability to perform tasks, but rather based upon the circumstances of their birth. Now tell me which side of the French Revolution you think Bob should fight for.

If you're suggesting he'd be on the side of the monarchists, you overestimate how much Bob's political opinions are built on the strength of his convictions vs his desire to be part of the ingroup. He wouldn't be Leopold II, intervening to stop the revolution to preserve the authority of the king, he'd be someone like Jacques Hebert, joining the Jacobin cause as a means of enforcing his will against those he considered unpersons. In just about every dictatorship, there are clingers-on who join the party more out of a desire to compensate for their inadequacies and shitty lives. They are opportunists hoping to use the power of their new position to enact revenge on everyone they think wronged them. Hebert was an 18th century lolcow who bounced from one scam or grift to the other and had none of the respect he desired. For a closer example (though a bit hyperbolic, I'll admit), compare Bob's childhood with Joseph Goebbels:
Both were socially ostracized as children (Bob because :autism:, Goebbels because he was sickly and had a clubfoot), both retreated into media to cope with it (video games, literature/film), both became aloof/self-absorbed/lazy from living in their bubble, both had massive inferiority complexes about their childhoods that they act out by declaring themselves misunderstood geniuses. And both have a stereotype of who, exactly, is responsible for ruining their life: FPS-playing dudebros for Bob, Bolshevik Jews for Goebbels.
Bob only parrots all this technocratic elitism drivel because he thinks that's his avenue to gaining influence and credibility in his chosen clique, and that's been immediately apparent ever since he jumped hard on the Anita Sarkeesian bandwagon in 2012.
