It's hilarious that the Blob imagines himself to be some kind of cultural doyen, but to be completely fair, he presents his list as a kind of basic canon, nothing more. He notes that each author is well known and accessible that if the viewer hasn't read at least one work by each author, they should rectify that by taking some time out of their day to do some reading instead of playing games.

There's plenty about the Blob to find fault with, especially when he literally presents himself as the crown of creation, but as a basic accessible literary canon, his list is not awful.

Globalism might work if socially and economically countries were similar but right now it seems like it's just a system that works well for corperations and big buisnesses but screws over nearly everyone else.

Honestly I don't think Bob understands what life is like in places like Somalia if he thinks the world is suddenly going to start working together in unity.
