Bob, confusing June 8th, 2017 for November 8th, 2016:

Yes, because Mario is such a rounded, well-written, three-dimensional character:

Bob Chipman, possibly the only person looking forward to this:

Here's Bob, talking about talking about his boner:

Here's some rambling about Wonder Woman:

Bob's looking forward to Atomic Blonde. Not because of Charlize Theron kicking ass, not because it's by one of the guys who made John Wick, but because lesbians. Never change, fat man:

You know what, I hope it does, because maybe then he'll sperg over original, distinct movies. (:optimistic:):

What's so gazemazing about Wonder Woman anyway? It felt like DC trying to do Captain America and not getting it as right.
People like Bob see it as a victory for their ideology regardless of whether or not the film actually espouses it. The films success (because unlike FemBusters, the people making it didn't belittle fans of the property) in their eyes justifies said victory.

Going back to the first part these people put waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayy too much stock into how art influences culture, and believe that injecting their ideology into art as much as possible will reshape the culture in its image. Because it's not like people are naturally inclined towards certain products irrespective of ideology, and selling based on ideology alone is a surefire way to guarantee your product tanks (again, see Fembusters).

You're making me disappointed that people didn't go "All men who liked Wonder Woman before are massive faggots. Comes see Wonder Woman in theaters now!". Maybe even Bob would see the flaws in that.

It never ceases to amaze how much of a hate boner Bob has for fps games. He'd rather have a shameless sonic rip off like bubsy over those new dang dirty shooters just because it reminds him of the 90's. Truly the bastion of the superior future.

Bob has a hateboner for anything that came after 1995 in the gaming world. The only exception to this rule is Nintendo, but even that only extends to Mario AFAIK. The only other times he's commented on the other Nintendo franchises is to attack non-Nintendo properties or to white-knight either a Nintendo product or Nintendo itself.

Makes you wonder why he bothers if he hates everything.

Well this is typical of those with authoritarian viewpoint, either from a fascist or the cultural-Marxist team. It is actually rather disturbing how hellbent they seem on subverting culture purposefully, rather than just create good art/culture. They tend to view themselves as the trendsetting Hippies of the 60s or the British Punk Rockers of the 70s without the inkling of the talent to create the culture or love to go their own way. In fact, the fact they latch onto pre-existing stuff to alert it due to their stuff being shit most of the time is actually rather parasitic.

Pretty much the only time he hated Nintendo is that rabbit thing cause of Guns and Prime because of it being first person. As long as gun/first person is not apart of the game he will defend ever single thing they do as he famous did with the fan hated game Other M; which is some what ironic being the fact that the only game I would actually say is any bit sexist but he dose not care about that as it not first person.

I completely forgot about him defending Other M. Didn't he defend it on the grounds that people were being racist toward the creators rather than it just being a sorta mediocre game that completely shat on Samus?

Exactly.

I still can't believe Blobfish had an Xbox 360.

It's been my experience that the hardcore believers that commercial art determines culture, rather than the other way around, are exactly the tier of stupid that actually gets their moral precepts from commercial art. Why do you think this same camp keeps making tormented Harry Potter and Avengers analogies to explain modern politics?

Don't you have a loop there since the people behind both of those things also believe in that school of thought?

Most of these people believe in the 'Tabula Rasa' state of behavior. That we're all blank slates and culture determines behaviors. Its total bullshit, but its why you have this obsession with pop culture, diversity, etc.

It may be true for creators and their fanbase but for the lion's share of people it isn't. People can draw inspiration from commercial art but only speds and artists think that art can do anything other than reflect existing movements.
