Bob DOES know VideoDrome is a horror movie, right? Bob would happily go live in a Cronenberg nightmare world as long as it had some version of Mario there. Maybe Bob's version of "VidyaDrome" will have him reaching into his stomach, pulling out a fire flower and using it to shoot fireballs at the Mayonnaise ghouls trying to stop his superior future from happening.

And of COURSE Bob is going to shill for the arts since it's the only way he can keep his worthless ass out of the unemployment line. I'm not sure how he thinks the people who grow our food, provide our medical care and construct our buildings are any less valuable than the people who draw self-portraits with their own bodily fluids or who make fast-talking internet reviews about movies they only half paid attention to at the theater while they were shovelling 3 gallons of X-tra Buttery Topping Flavored popcorn down their gullets.

I'm also not sure why Bob seems to think that the Republicans should be obligated to support Arts Funding, when most of it goes to pro-Democrat activism, or to public space-uglifying art projects that look like something a three year old put together with clay, fingerpaints, and his own puke. Something tells me that an Arts program that produced REAL art would be denounced by Bob for being elitist and discriminatory. (This WAS a man who denounced Cuphead for unreasonably expecting gamers to actually employ strategy in their gameplay, after all.)

This is one of the strangest things about Bob. He claims to be the defender of the arts from shitlords seeking to ruin them, and yet reviews mainstream pop culture that sells well anyway and doesn't need his help. I suppose it's all part of his false sense of superiority.

Well talking about public funding of the arts, I am in the camp that is against public funding because honestly that is a very high tier need in relationship to the person and education, not to mention if those who really care about the arts in their town will help fund it themselves and not with other people's money.

To tie Bob into this, for all the talks of being cultured and superior, he is perhaps one of the most creatively uncultured people I have had the horror of walking across. For all his talks, he is never seen at an art museum, never helps fund an artist unless he is getting a kinky commission with him plowing Lindsey Ellis, never even brings attention to an artist to help them get exposure unless he was wanting to castigate them, and finally doesn't ever expand his taste in art whether it be paintings, sculptures, books, and especially film.
