If I remember correctly, that was precisely how he framed her pushing DOMA. "Oh, she was just trying to get approval in order to build her base; she didn't actually believe it because look how LGBT friendly she is now!" Bob already has his conclusion and will interpret facts in a way that aligns with what he already knows in his heart to be true.

That's where I got it from. He's already showing that he's willing to toss logic out for the Democrats as he still believes HILLARY CLINTON would bring us closer to his "Superior Future" where we have one big world government. Yes, Hillary as president of the United States would have brought us closer to a future where that position would no longer exist. A world where she'd lose her political power unless she became some mid level politician under whoever runs the Superior Future.

Bob's behavior would leave me to believe that he is possessed by some sort of demon - an unclean spirit of Unreason responsible for twisting every one of Bob's thoughts into a deluded exultation of madness, jealously and hatred.
But that would have to imply that there's a demon with low enough self-esteem to possess Bob. Or that there is anything more vile and misanthropic than Bob himself. If anything, demons should be worried that he'll possess them.
Also Bob, NINETY PERCENT of morality is made up religious bullshit? Which 90 percent would that be -the rules about doing unto others as they would have done to you? The rules against murder or disproportionate retribution? The rules against cheating on a spouse you've pledged your devotion to? You could make a reasonable argument that there are SOME percentage of laws on the books that should be revised because they were originally written for Iron Age sheepherders, but 90 percent? Were people really that much different back then? And which laws were you personally thinking of letting go, Bob? The laws against chainsawing Trump supporters in their sleep?

There is justice in the world as people for the most part will look fondly on Harrington and Hawking even if they didn't agree with everything they said or believed, on the other hand aside from Lolcow historians like ourselves, Bob will decay with the dust of time and not even remembered by the passages of it.
