How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

That could be the case but since he mentioned cycles, it looks to be referencing Dwayne Johnson and Rampage.
Yes, the previous cycle was Ronald Reagan, the previous ape-friendly president. And the next one is going to be Rock "The Dwayne" Johnson and his CGI gorilla.

So speaking of politicians and film, has Bob mentioned whether he'll be reviewing Chappaquiddick?

Whether he's talking about Ronald Reagan or The Rock, you ever notice that Bob will deride the accomplishments of people much more successful then he is? He'll make others accomplishments that are actually pretty major sound like they are meaningless or a failure.

He does this all the time with Trump (sarcastically calling him a "successful businessman" even though he is a successful businessman) and now he's doing it with The Rock (who right now is one of the most popular and successful actors in Hollywood) and Ronald Reagan (another President who remains one of the most popular President's to ever exist).

Not saying you can't criticize someone bigger then you are, but trying to make other's accomplishments (accomplishments mind you that are actually important, successful and that actually have some value to them) seem like they are meaningless while you haven't even been able to accomplish jack shit in your life seems like a stupid and rather ironic thing to do.

It's funny Bob sperges on an on about bring value to society and art yet the Rock, Trump, and Regan, three people Bob rails against, managed to more bring value and contribution to culture than Bob.

All Bob did was make a 10-minute rant of a fucking Adam Sandlers movie that was popular for like two minutes and people quickly forget about it. Plus, those three didn't get fired and destroyed their reputations over a stupid internet slap fight like Bob did.

I only notice it when it's directed towards other critics or internet personalities. Other times it comes off as regular calling them "failures" in the sense of making foolish choices even though they're objectively a success. I can buy Bob consciously downplaying them to stroke his ego though.

Sarcasm wouldn't be my go-to emotion hearing this.

He will most likely parrot what other film critics have said, such as it is a fictionalized account that besmirches Ted Kennedy.

So off topic, but could someone fill me in on what's going on with Channel Awesome? I heard they some scandal going on.

You can go to the Nostalgia Critic thread to learn the entire backstory. Long story short, a large amount of former contributors released a massive joint Google document listing several problems, sharing stories and airing dirty laundry from behind the scenes of CA this week. It began with a massive twitter thread last month, resulting in several contributors leaving the site in the wake of the twitter thread, and now all these contributors are sharing their stories about CA.

They also put out an abridged document that sums up everything to more simple points.

I wouldn't bet on it, she's from a wasteland state.

That just means he can rescue her from the Governor of Indiana, Bowser, leaping merrily on mushrooms and seizing fireflowers, hauling her back to the paradise of Lynn, MA on a magic carpet (or windowless van, whatever).

The Round Mound of Frowns is actually CRITICIZING THE ROCK AND VIN DIESEL FOR THEIR PHYSIQUES.

Of course. In the superior future fat and frowning is the appropriate form of conformity for males. Neckbeards and glasses are optional but recomended
