On the topic of "MovieBob" as a chosen alias, does Brick by Brick even bring up an interest with movies or anything? Cause if not I'm going to throw out the idea I had earlier in the thread where I feel he only went with movies because out of popular storytelling mediums, it's one that requires the least viewer involvement.
Books are a lolno, TV wouldn't agree with his sleep patterns and he'd have to keep track of multiple channels, vidya requires him to git gud and expand beyond Nintendo, etc. Movies being a visual medium that isn't as scheduled as TV allows him to be as lazy as he chooses. Not to be elitist but you could just masturbate in the corner and claimed you "watched" a movie.

He probably chose movies because, for most of his life, watching a couple hour movie was the closest thing he had to actually escaping being Bob Chipman, with all that entails. Pure escapism. Same dynamic as his obsessive Mario video game playing back when he was in high school, it's how he avoided dealing with the fact that he was a fat fuck who wasn't liked.

What does Bob actually do to entertain himself? He likely doesn't read any kind of books, even comics despite claiming to be a fan. He probably doesn't play a lot of video games outside of whatever Nintendo is churning out. His lone major source of entertainment likely is just shitty movies and some TV shows he might like.

Bare in mind that Bob has shown repeatedly to not know when historical events actually happened or took place. It's not that hard to imagine that he's dumb enough to forget when events happened that he was actually alive for.

Eh, I don't know. It's not easy to slam a film without making someone feel bad. And it's not like BvS didn't have it coming, based on word of mouth.
I'd personally like to see the blame shift from actors, though. Jar-jar is one of the cringiest things since Charlie Chan in Egypt but it's not the actor's fault.

The Prequels had a lot of issues and I'd even argue Attack of the Clones was the worse of the Prequels and it had little JarJar but JarJar became the face of the problems of the Prequels and Snyder has become the face for the issues of the DCEU when he was hardly the only issue. My point is with Bob is don't act all sorry for blaming JarJar for the Prequels when you're actively doing the same to Snyder.

I usually cut anything in parenthesis out, it's what I was taught when writing essays. Essentially; If a statement has to be in parenthesis for whatever reason it likely won't contribute to the main point you were trying to make.

It's the hallmark of unclear and unorganized writing. But then again, everything about Bob is unclear and disorganized, except for maybe those autistic lists he used to make about Super Mario Brothers enemies and where they appear. I can't emphasize enough how sad it is that Bob spent his teen years doing that, while his peers were studying, socializing, and getting laid.

I understand the parenthesis temptatation. I'm bad about that myself, but most of the time you can rework the parenthetical information back into the paragraph in a way that flows clearly and naturally.
