Coincidentally, that was the "mean-spirited" moment that made most Tumblrites give up on this show. There was also the episode "The Worst" where The Watterson family swap age and gender to see who really has it tough in society today...
The answer is everyone: men have to put up with not being seen as weak, women have to put up with patronizing males and limited job opportunities, adults have to put up with being bored at work and getting older, and kids have to put up with the harsh rigors of school and puberty
The episode wasn't perfect, but I do applaud the effort by Ben Bocquelet and his crew. I do recommend it.
It's a shame. The Amazing World of Gumball, despite its fandom, is a damn good show and the closest thing we have to a 21st century version of The Simpsons (besides South Park and, maybe, F is for Family).
But enough about what kids' show made Tumblr cry. More burns on Bob Chipman.

One thing that I like about Disney is that they are consistent with their views. They do not put up with jokes about racism or pedophila, no matter what your political ideology is.
The thing about this shitshow from Bob is that he’s showing a double standard with Gunn and Roseanne. Both of them torpedoed their careers for acting like retards that went against Disney’s standards. The difference is that Bob wants Gunn rehired and Roseanne fired solely on the basis of Trump, who Bob straight up hates, yet is ignorant about the actual politics from him and is very misinformed and out of touch with why people voted for him.
It’s very ironic that Bob thinks that those tweets were exposed from the right to get back at Gunn for bashing Trump, yet refuses to acknowledge the fucked up pedophila jokes Gunn had in them. Will Bob ever acknowledge that Gunn should not have made tweets and had them expose to Disney that would lead to his firing? Never, because Bob has made a pledge to never go after his political side.
