How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

The cynic in me seems to think the only reason for this post is because McCain has been a vocal critic of Trump and had his big moment of defiance with the thumbs down vote of recalling Obamacare.

Really kind of drives home reality quite a bit when one of the big-wig political figures still gets beaten by cancer despite people (mostly liberal communists) insisting that they have the money to prevent it therefore=unfair.

I have no doubts that MovieBob would give two shits if he was a Trump support given he's ok with middle-class workers dying in their line of work.

Bob is an irredeemable fool if he believes for even one second that anyone could expect the same level of condolences if John Mccain had just voted against Obamacare (which he ran on doing for years). Stuff it Bob, that bird aint flying.

* Bob graduated from Salem State College (Not a community college, sorry @Mola Ram.)

Damnation! I was sure he'd attended a community college.

Curiously (or maybe obviously), he's not listed as a "notable alumnus" on the Wikipedia page. Is it because he's not notable ... or because he didn't actually graduate? (The graduation rate is a sterling 48%.)

* Bob apparently owns a gun.

This is the most purely alarming bit of information about him yet.

TIL The Nightmare Before Christmas is about cultural appropriation.

It's not the thesis that's stupid (although it is, laughably so, to the point I seriously wonder if he just sits around noodling the most ridiculous possible interpretation of something just to get a rise out of people); it's the implication that this insight should be screamingly obvious to the casual observer.

(Also, I love that he considers spices to be an example of "cultural appropriation," as though the spice trade isn't thousands of years old and wasn't one of the earliest foundations of international relations. What kind of history courses do they teach at Salem State?)

Honestly, I can easily imagine Bob graduating college in a non-STEM field.

Call it an indictment of college, but I was always struck by how the skills needed in college have nothing to do with the collaboration and open book of actual business.

Perhaps it could be argued that Bob plateaued in college, with the factual errors he's prone to escaping notice because there's a lot of papers to grade.

I'm sure he's lying or exaggerating. If he does own a firearm it's likely something old that a relative willed down to him and now he just keeps it so he can say "I'm a gun owner and I support gun control measures." Happens all the time with people of his type.
I object to your calling that a bad thing. Bob being an evolutionary dead end is glorious.

I can't even imagine Bob being a parent. His child would likely die in some freak accident at a young age because his father was too busy putting out tweets on Twitter instead of watching him like he should have been.

A mere three years ago Bob was likely tweeting out the same hateful content about McCain that he says about Trump today.

Here's the thing about Humanities degrees, as opposed to business or STEM or professional degrees: they're easy. Basically if you can read at a 12th grade level you can, with minimum effort get a degree.

Easy to get humanities degrees are a good reason the Bachelor's Degree has become so devalued: they're so dumbed down and provide so few marketable skills that the job market is flooded with people with no concept of how to work with others or manage any kind of profession.

I'm going to guess that Bob wasn't anything special as grades go in High School and probably was bad at math or he might have pursued sonething with more of a future than Cinema Studies or whatever. I say that because :powerlevel: it mirrors my own life a bit.

After you get that unmarketable humanities degree you kind of have to humble yourself and realize you aren't as smart as you thought and have to fight to correct your deficiencies. Of course, Bob doesn't seem to ever learn and people like his brother and cronies are actively enabling his bullshit.

I like hearing about all these alternate reality versions of Trump that supposedly fail all the time and never branched out from real estate (or was only ever a reality TV host). It's too bad we'll never meet them.
I especially like hearing it from unaccomplished hacks who would have turned a small loan of a million dollars into a million dollars of debt.

Well this is the same guy who 6 years after sperging about the ObamAvengers vs. BatRomney suddenly cheered Mitt on in his run for Utah's Senate seat purely because Romney might mildly annoy Trump in the Senate.
And before anyone asks yes Bob really did equate Obama with the Avengers and Romney with The Dark Knight Rises back in 2012. It was just as autistic as you could imagine and I'm sure someone in this thread will repost it if asked.

MovieBob completely bungled the interpretation of Nightmare Before Christmas with his stupid fat hands. The takeaway from that movie isn't "he should have stayed in Halloween Town and learned nothing." My lord what a great big fat dumb idiot.

Bob's one of those guys that feels like he's a deeper thinker or intellectual than he actually is, like a guy that's read some philosophical quotes online and can suddenly talk to the plebeians about TRUE wisdom.

He's your younger brother who just got back from his first semester of college after acing his Intro to Philosophy course and finally thinks he's got proof he's smarter than everyone else.

Reminder that this man is almost 40 and thinks of himself as a genius.

Somebody send this leak to him https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/h...y-3-production-hold-james-gunn-firing-1137400

I just want to see his reaction to this.

He's already beaten you to the punch.

"Honestly," it's perfectly obvious that whatever happens to this clusterfuck, Gunn isn't going to be part of it.

His dispassionate reportage is so inspiring.

His delusion at this point over them rehiring Gunn is so sadly laughable, plus there were those weird costume party pics that came out with him at an apparently themed even with women dressed like little girls so it'd be even more damaging for Disney to back down and rehire him.
