Just wait till Kavanaugh gets the inevitable "Will you overturn Roe v. Wade?" question.
We'll get sperging throughout the whole nomination process from that alone.
I mean, Roe herself wants it to be overturned, so we can build off of that and say that Kavanaugh would probably want to overturn it.

So does that make the SJWs, at least in their own minds, Batman?

In one sense I suppose so, I know you have Antifa types that compare themselves to the Allied forces storming Nazi Germany in the 40s to sparying bear mace at guys in MAGA hats or smacking people with bike locks so some do see their backwards actions as heroic, Bob probably sees himself in a similar light.

God, Bob cannot lift his fucking ass from the couch, i doubt he will be capable of lifting a bat to mace someone in the face.

Plus, Isn't supposed Batman to also state the dangers of Vigilante justice spiraling out of control and also destroying your life and everyone in it? SJWs cannot bear that someone is mean to a fag, i doubt they will be capable of coping with their best friend getting tortured and killed by a maniac

Ironically Antifa actions are more like Hitler's Brownshirts than any Allied Forces than there is Bob who hates Nazi yet emulates them in his actions too. SJWs really seemed to learn Nazi are racist and skipped everything else In their history.

Batman is a Rich, White, CIS, Straight, Man who endangers children (Robins), violates civil rights, and beats criminals who are probably poor and minorities given statistics so how any SJW can be a fan of his is mind boggling. Personally I think he's awesome.

So I had a moment of free time to just sit and think, and instead of using it for anything useful or beneficial to me I couldn't get a certain Bob conundrum out of my head.

He's made a tweet at some point where he somehow puts The Dark Knight (Heath Ledger Joker movie) as an early part of the "How we got Drumpf" equation. Nevermind how that theory is supposed to make sense, it does to him apparently so I'll run with it. On this note he'll never say this out loud, but we all know part of it is that TDK got just popular enough outside of the nerd-o-sphere that the "dudebro" contingent adopted it. As I write this I realize this is probably where he draws the connection, I don't know fuck it.

He's also very obviously turned on TDK, despite being a big fan of it in the past.

This has created a Chicken or Egg problem to me.

Did he change his mind on liking the film because he discovered the "Secret Drumpfism" in it? Or did he discover "Secret Drumpfism" in the film because he decided he didn't like it anymore?
To reiterate PurpleDude's point, he likely flipped the script WRT his opinion on the film due to him jumping on the MCU bandwagon when that franchise really rose to prominence. While I'm sure a lot of it was due to Bob being a guy who blindly follows trends, I'm not sure if that's entirely the case or whether it's also down to him preferring Marvel over DC in general (has he ever said which one he does?) , his childish worldview and tastes making him more amenable to the MCU, both, or some other combination of factors.

So to answer your question, it's the latter probably.

The core I want to try and get at is, what came first? Bob deciding he no longer liked the movie, or Bob deciding the movie contributed to how we elected Pmurt?

I have explained this before so i will do so again.

Back on Libertas, a reviewer at the time named John Nolte (look him up, he writes for breitbart now) LOVED the dark knight and wrote a few articles on how it was a parallel for Bush and the war on terror. Nolte and Bob butted heads ALL the time so when Nolte came out as a big fan of TDK is when Bob flipped on the movie.

Did Bob actually worked for Libertas?

No he was just a frequent commentator there. That's how i found him the first time.

And yes, once upon a time Bob would actually go pick fight with those who disagreed with him. Ype. Imagine a time he was SLIGHTLY less insufferable because he didn't have the bubble yet.

It's my personal theory that Bob always hated the Dark Knight trilogy because Chads liked it. If you read his Avengers = Obama/TDR = Romney blogpost, you can easily see how much he hates the movie and why he hates it so.

I still can’t wrap around my head with this comparison, especially how you relate Obama out of all people with The Avengers. Not sure if he made this claim or not, but I imagine Bob compared Hillary to Black Panther.

The three things he loves to sperg out about the most: Black Panther and Asians...

"The belief that liberal values are on “the right side of history” is a confession of faith, asserted against an accumulating body of evidence.
. . .
"Theories that posit a long-term historical movement towards a liberal future are religious myths recycled as ersatz social science.

"Despite everything, liberals cannot help thinking of history as a story of redemption. That is why they cannot help seeing Putin and Xi Jinping, Orbán and Salvini as reverting to the past. A future that contains hyper-modern tsars, technocratic emperors and intelligent demagogues is unthinkable. So facts are ignored or denied, and truth sacrificed for the sake of securing a consoling meaning in events. While post-truth populism has become one of the clichés of the age, a more defining feature of our time is the rise of post-truth liberalism.

"It would be foolish to expect liberals to admit that their faith has been falsified. They would have to accept that they do not understand the present—an impossible demand, when they have seen themselves for so long as the intellectual vanguard of humankind. Whether secular or religious, myths are not refuted. Instead they fade and vanish from the scene, together with the people who embody them." -John Gray

"Who were you again?"

Not sure if he made this claim or not, but I imagine Bob compared Hillary to Black Panther.
He didn't.

I don't think Bob is as hung up on Hillary herself as much as he is hung up on what she represented to him, she represented a female candidate that would have started a post-Obama diversity trend, where every party would have to pretty much start pushing minority candidates in order to succeed, in that regard, Hillary would have been as adequate as Elizabeth Warren or Nancy Pelosi or any other woman, you can see this in how he never mentions any actual good attributes or plans he liked from Hillary (mainly because she had none, and I say this as someone who isn't American), you will note that his whining is always about her loss to Trump and not about anything we missed out on because of it, and I find that very telling.

Also, let's not forget Moon wheat and all that lol.

See ya friendo.

Yeah that's why the South flipped to Republicans in... 1994. The same republicans who voted far more for the civil rights bill than the democrats did. Oh look at that, George Wallace (not a republican) won the deep south in the following election...

Also even wikipedia points out:
Woods states that Johnson's religiosity ran deep: "At 15 he joined the Disciples of Christ, or Christian, church and would forever believe that it was the duty of the rich to care for the poor, the strong to assist the weak, and the educated to speak for the inarticulate." Johnson shared the beliefs of his mentor, FDR, in that he paired liberal values to religious values, believing that freedom and social justice served both God and man.
Guess Bob can't bear to give ANY religious folks credit, even if they're on his side.

It's what makes his smugness and condescension both amusing and insufferable: he lacks the most basic knowledge on the issues he declaims on.
