Ah yes, that fictional version of Bob who tweets using his verified Twitter account and speaks using his body and vocal chords. How silly of us.

Man, Bob's stupidity is just amazing. Why would anyone admit that they'd surrender to false life-ruining allegations? The only thing that makes sense is that his guilty conscience weighs on him so heavy that he'd just assume he deserves it anyways. If he himself believes he's overdue for a beating, who can argue?

That is true and I was drinking the Kool-aid a pit. Kavanaugh doesn't seem like a legit pedophile like Moore.
It's okay, we all do it sometimes.

I will say that Bob and Roy Moore are actually quite similar in the sense that they're both living avatars of the absolute worst aspects of their respective political parties.

They actually are. I don't know though if Moore wanted half the population to die since they didn't align their beliefs with his.

You got us. We've been spreading a fictional version of you by screencapping your own tweets.

A master forger has lots of ways to use his skills for personal gain. From selling replica art works, making fake documents for criminals or international spies, even literally printing money. Now they use those skills to ...make a few internet nobodies look bad?

Post-modernist critics loved it because it subverted the expectations people had. There’s also the dissing the filmmakers have towards the fans that the critics see and like.

You know, I had my expectations subverted once.

Remember the Shoji Tabuchi Show? It was on Wheel of the Worse. This goofy looking Japanese guy in a kitschy sequined costume who came out on this tacky stage like every bad variety show from 1970 (I expected Cesar Romero to come out), stuttered a bit through a goofy monologue, and just when I was giggling at how absurd it all was he stuck a violin under his chin, and God damn the man can play the fiddle.

I mean, if they announced they were making a movie adaption of The Devil Came Down to Georgia with the violin parts played by Shoji Tabuchi, I would nod and say, "Good choice."

I swear I bought one of his albums, just to apologize for thinking Shoji Tabuchi was funny.

That's subverting my expectations. It's different from being disappointing.

Remember when Bob goes on about nations being obsolete before going into his BAHSTAHN pride shit despite Boston will have to cease to exist to bring about his ideal world?
And how does that jive with Blob's boner for Mario and its various separate and thematically unique "kingdoms"? Somebody should tell him that Bowser is against respecting sovereign borders too, see how he fumes.

Bob always pussies out when you get to that point and NEVER explains what happens after "No Borders" to get to his globalized one world government world. I don't see what other options you have besides annexing or the dumber option of letting America get annexed by Mexico (?) and then getting the new super Mexico to drop it's borders and than continue this train until you get one nation.

Bob's entire thought process on how to obtain things was summed up brilliantly by South Park decades ago:

It's even more infuriating since "I (or whoever I support) want to conquer the world" is not a thing to pussyfoot around. He's ballsy enough to say "I believe there's mostly no such thing as bad tactics, only bad targets" but when it comes to his dream of one ruling body over Earth, he has his tail between his legs as I assume he realizes brute forcing the world is not grounded in reality.

It makes Bob come off as a coward who won't stand for what he believes in. How are you going to rule the world when you're too scared that people will say mean things to you about your methods?

You know who else didn't respect borders?

HITLER!

Bob Chipman stars in the newest film, Ass Deep in Denial. Coming to a theater near you!

BTW, I'm slowly making my way through MauLer's critique of Bob's video and OMG is it glorious.

At one point Bob says you need a thesis to criticize a film.

Suddenly I understand how he gets things wrong - because it's not abut what the film actually has or says, but about making the film fit his theory.

From now on I'm measuring levels of sophistry as moviebobs. "Oh yeah, Kayne? He's about 984 micro-moviebobs."

EDIT: This is an honest to your god line from Bob: "That's where this whole thing jumps from obsessive nitpicking for its own sake is shallow to the point of meaninglessness as an act of film criticism to 'oh my god, stop it, you are literally murdering the concept of culture'."

That's who Bob is. He believes he is defending the very CONCEPT of culture, ladies and gents.

I love how MauLer and his guests have to stop every so often just to parse Bob's tortured grammar. It doesn't help that Bob speeds up his voice so that no one can catch the fact that nothing he says makes any damn sense. He also likes to throw in school film terms like "Alternate Unifying Thesis" to sound smart. (So what? A movie needs TWO theses in order to be understood? One thesis that's for a position and one that's against? Is that what you're talking about? Or do both theses have to agree with each other even though they have different interpretations?) This sounds like typical commie bafflegab used to fluster an opponent and wear them down so they'll eventually agree with you out of frustration.
