'we don't need to consume less'

*cue paragraphs of rationalizing the disproportionate waste and consumption caused by urbanized areas*

these people produce the most trash and consume the most fossil fuel, then blame the people who mine and extract that energy so that they can waste it. they don't want to hear that their lifestyle is the problem, it's the mechanism itself that's the problem.

fossil fuels would not be a big deal if we didn't have massive hives of tens of millions of people crammed into tiny 100 square mile areas with air conditioning, lighting, and transit running 24 hours a day.

Why in the world is anyone even pretending to care what Taylor Swift says about literally anything though
Well normal people don't care what Swift thinks.
But celebrity obsessed liberals had/have the strangest fixation on Swift's politics.
Probably because Swift didn't take sides in 2016 and this was an unforgivable sin for...some reason.
TLDR Only out of touch liberals care what out of touch celebrity's think about politics.

So is Blobb for or against Asian discrimination in higher education? That’s what the case is about, Harvard limiting Asian applicants.

Overall I hate affirmative action, it’s bullshit. You either have the chops to make it or you don’t and by not going to harvard you’re not screwing yourself over. Plenty of other great schools you can attend without the prestige.

Bobby, bubalah. No one is saying cartels are some top secret organized spy agency looking to take over the world. Not even those gosh darn movies where Mexican and South American cartels are the bad guys. No one is portraying them as criminal masterminds with some convoluted "Take Over the World" Plan. No one is comparing them to Cobra or Spectre or any other Moriarty-esque villain. If you actually paid attention to these movies, the cartels in them, much like their real world counterparts, aren't subtle. By design, mind you. They do big flashy displays of brutal violence to send a message. Their motivation, in the films and in real life, is money. Not world domination.

Just because YOU have delusions of grandure and wish you could rule the world with an iron grip doesn't mean everyone else thinks that way.

He means in stomach radius right? Because Stallone isn’t that tiny. Something that I find funny is when people just barely over average height get it in their head that they tower above everybody. No bob, your not a 7ft giant, your 6tf and obese. I’m pretty sure anybody in halfway decent shape could kick your ass, despite you being from Bahstin.

Oh yeah, just move at the very least half a million people (that’s our least populous state: Wyoming, to do just ONE of these “move em all to the coast” from inner states that bob wants)from a state to a city, many if not most against they’re will, that won’t be a logistical, ethical, or political nightmare at all will it? Seriously, even if you want to ignore that most people would go insane at the prospect, it would still be an issues. The sheet amount of logistical work to move 500,000 into cities alone would be difficult, new buildings would have to be made, traffic flor would change, food supply would change due to thousands of new people. Cultures will also be affected, as rural folk comes to the city. You really think they’re gonna give up hunting, fishing, etc. to live in a city? Yes there is other things to do, but some people might not like it. Also, the cleanup after humans stop living there is another thing entirely, not just repurposing houses and schools, but making sure areas are ok without maintenance. Also, what of the farms, mines, etc that are there, is bob seriously saying forget about those very important recourses to shove more people into overcrowded cities? I just don’t think bob understands the reason nobody is promoting this, any way you look at it, it’s a logistical, economic and social nightmare.

Ironically wouldn't "SHOVE 'EM ALL INTO THE CITIES!" make these great diverse places he talks about way whiter and end up even more like the places he hates? I'm not really sure how his idea works even if you ignore all the "how to get it?" details. You'll just make places like LA even whiter from states worth of "Wasteland Ghouls" before that population becomes too large to contain and spreads out into the areas you removed them from in the first place.

My biggest question is: What do we do with the people who have to maintain these robots and systems?

So Gunn is hired by WB and write and direct Suicide Squad 2? It's probably going to be a good movie, but good enough to save the DCU? Not a fucking chance. Blobbo dropped the ball on this one.

He should be in favor of disenfranchising natives, they rate at the bottom of every value he claims to hold dear, most especially IQ and education. And he loves to talk about white people being inbred, but I don't think he has any idea how astronomically high incest and child abuse are among the People of the Listerine.

The biggest nightmare in all this is traffic. I recently went from a smallish town to a larger city, and what used to be a 20-30 minute ride is now an hour to an hour and a half of sitting on an idling bike slowly creeping forward and almost never being able to even get into second gear. Can't imagine it'll get better by adding EVEN MORE people to that mix.

Bob cheers the loss of jobs and "replacement" of blue collar workers and farmers on a regular basis because he views them as obsolete despite them holding significant value in society.

Meanwhile, the loss of retail stores is a terrible tragedy despite these companies no longer being needed.

I'm pretty sure growing your way out of climate change IS HOW HUMANS FUCKING GOT TO THIS POINT IN THE FIRST PLACE! You know, so the village isn't wiped out because one drought devestated the fields and starved everybody.

Screw it, I'm telling Skynet to up the environ doom & gloom, maybe we can get lucky and just drive all humans to suicide.

Blue collar workers will never go away. Replacing them will damage our economy. The reason why Bob hates the Trump-right and Bernie-left is because they are appealing to their issues rather than the “stunning and brave” woke crowd.

Our middle class in America is shit right now as a result of neo-liberalism and conservativism and globalism. Being a globalist neo-liberal, Bob is essentially supporting a system that fucks middle class workers over.
