How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

I'm curious. When was the last time Bob even set foot inside a Sears? I mean, when he got upset over Toys 'R Us' closure, it was because of his sentimentality of the brand and showed little understanding of business or the current climate of retail. There were department stores like Montgomery Ward and Ames that went tits up in the 90s and 00s as well and I wonder if he lamented their loss.

I admit that I feel some wistful nostalgia (and probably at the risk of :powerlevel:) for defunct department stores like Woodward's, Woolco, and Eatons at times, but that is more about reflecting on more carefree days. These stores folded due to market conditions and/or bad management. It happens and the world moves on. Of course, Bob cannot move on from the happier times before he became an angry Twitter sperg.
Oh yeah, Eaton's. I remember that store. I'd run to the lower floor of ours to check out the Transformers back in the day. Eatons' kids ran it into the ground.

Also I'm reminded of him once defending his "Well if America doesn't want to start the superior future then China will" by arguing that China's human rights abuses aren't so much a problem as is just getting an unified Earth government out in space. It'll sort itself out.

It is from that I wonder if Bob is a hardcore Gundam fanboy. If you really think about it The Earth Federation is a perfect embodiment of the "Superior Future" from Plutocrats having all the power, an oppressive united government that doesn't like free will that like to conquer everything, a government that doesn't give a shit about its workers in the far flung flyover space, and the best part for Bob is that most of all the food comes from the space colonies so he gets his Moon Wheat.

Bob probably doesn't know what the fuck Gundam is, despite the fact that its basically Japanese Star Trek. Though considering Bob's actions, he might as well be part of the Principality of Zeon.

Like I can understand having memories of places that you may reflect on later in life. Something along the lines of "Oh, I remember going there with my parents on the weekends all the time when I was a kid."

But Bob does this all wrong. He acts so emotionally attached to these things. He truly can't move on from being a child. He truly believes that something that was big when he was kid and now isn't is a massive stab to who he is as a person.

I agree with that Bob wants more of a Star Trek future rather than the Gundam one. To me, it's that plus making the rust belt and much of middle America a post-Fallout/Mad Max world.

Set foot?

Wouldn't he need feet to set foot somewhere?

Someone's envious of David Draiman, I see. Not surprising.
Well, David Draiman is someone who's the lead singer of a successful heavy metal band that has five number one albums (joining a record with Metallica and Dave Matthews Band) on the Billboard 200 and has their biggest hit being a cover of The Sound of Silence that was endorsed by Paul Simon, and has million of fans. Meanwhile, Bob's a obese diabetic living in his brother's basement and wrote a shitty book about SMB3 that reveal his creepy fetish over Mario and his rough childhood. His only famous for a 10-minute rant of a Adam Sandler movie no one cared about, made a shitty three-part series about Dawn of Justice that is longer than the director's cut. More importantly, he fucked his own career in the ass over a stupid internet slap fight.

He doesn't care about Hunter Killer in theaters October 26th so much that he's giving it free promotion.

Chris D'Elia Net Worth 6 million dollars vs a literal Basement Dweller.

Bob's opinions sound more like dril tweets every day
Noah Berlatsky is a fucking moron who spends all day getting into arguments with real journalists then blocking them. Anyone who quotes him is also a fucking moron.

Edit: Whenever movie blob starts complaining about DC characters I just imagine this giant, fat baby crying and throwing a tantrum. “no no no no I don’t want it!!!!!”.

Bob's opinions sound more like dril tweets every day
It’s important to dissect what brainlet’s like Bob mean by this post. Because it says “if you believe ALL politicians” but that’s not what they mean. At face value it would appear that this tweet is trying to say “believing all politician’s must be corrupt makes you a fascist.” but this can’t be true because bob and people who share his beliefs believe that Trump is Putin’s Manchurian Candidate and all the GOP know and back trump anyone for their own gain, therefore making them corrupt. Which is okay according to them.

So what they’re really saying here is that “believing that the candidates I supeficially back, because of their allegiance to a certain party or mindset, may be in any capacity corrupt or acting in bad faith for their own gain, and not believing that it is okay for them to do so makes you my enemy and you should be removed from society because of this.”

In bob terms a “thinking” man would realize that all people have their own ulterior motives, and many, including our politicians, will put their agendas ahead of the needs of others and so we should be wary of what they promise and what they actually deliver, while a “believing” man would swear up and down that a politician who acted against the will of the people or who lies and cheats against the good will of the people they serve were “for the good of everyone” or “better than being honest”.
