How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

That nasty ass Mac n cheese, I feel, is just yet another example of Bob trying to pass himself off as better than he actually is. In this case, he probably thinks himself to be like those famous cooks on TV.

Perhaps we should call Gordon Ramsey and see what he thinks of Bob's cooking

(spoiler: he thinks it's literal shit)

Damn it Bob, way to ruin making me starting to warm up to a otherwise pointless love action remake of The Lion King, which looks surprising.

Can’t upload the video because it’s from twitter but here’s a link in case you all weren’t blocked by him.

I'ver never been a huge fan of The Lion King to be perfectly honest. The fact that Disney blatantly ripped off Kimba the White Lion doesn't help.

I'm shocked to see Bob praise The Lion King. I know it falls in line with his Disney fetish, but you would think that an American company deliberately plagiarizing a franchise from Japan would have him up in arms.

Wasn’t it based on Hamlet though? I know it’s off topic but I saw many people compare those two together.

You have to understand, when people that Bob likes does the same shit he hypocritically causes the other of doing, then it’s okay because it’s from his interests.

Lion King (1994) co-directors Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff claimed to have been unfamiliar with Kimba, but take that with a grain of salt.

EDIT: I found this interesting quote that suggests that Jungle Emperor/Kimba, the White Lion was a homage to Bambi so it feels more like the serpent eating its tail.

Tezuka died in 1989, but during his life he didn't bother hiding his affection for Disney, especially his love for "Bambi," claiming to have seen the film more than 100 times. The animator actually met Walt Disney during a World's Fair before he ended up licensing "Bambi" for a Japanese adaptation and credits Disney in his autobiography for some creative influence. In his book, From Goods to a Good Life: Intellectual Property and Global Justice, Sunder points out that Tezuka said his own work on "Jungle Emperor," aka "Kimba," was an homage and a critique of the film.

I'm more concerned that Disney is effectively plagiarizing itself (or in the case of Lion King, plagiarizing a film that plagiarized an anime) with The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Mulan, and The Little Mermaid. Given that the MCU more or less mine the comic books for material and Star Wars is trying to recycle the original trilogy (albeit with the requisite wokeness to pander to the invisible audience), it makes me wonder if Disney has any original ideas.

Not that Bob cares. The man-baby needs his pop culture pablum.

I wonder if Bob will continue going to conventions as a professional guest next year?

I ended up shying away from Boogie because I didn't want to get kicked out of Billy and Jays convention (though I did shake Boogies hand at the bar arcade).

But if I was in a line for a booth to meet Bob I would reveal how much I have held reverence for him in a thread where he is so documented and mocked more than Chris.

Disney is completely out of any original ideas at this point. Everything they do now and days is completely built around nostalgia mining.

Are you seriously letting Bob troll you into hating a movie you initially liked? :story:

You need to take a step back bruh. Get some fresh air or something..

Sorry for Double Posting: That’s why Bob loves them right now. He is so fond of nostalgia and returning to happier times and Disney is the closest with replicating that kind of nostalgia.

I mean, being stucked in the past is a bad thing to have mentally but for someone like Bob who’s consistently bitter all the time, it’s the only thing for him. The most appalling is that Bob wants something to be identical from the past rather than building a better future of that something yet he rambles about a superior future.

Take video games for example. I don’t follow him a lot about this but I feel Bob is angry that a company like Nintendo isn’t dominating the game industry now like they did in the 80s while others have gotten better with innovating the medium with some groundbreaking and iconic franchises such as Rockstar’s GTA, Bungie’s Halo, ID’s Doom and Wolfenstein, Value’s Half Life, Square Enix’s Final Fanatsy. Bioware’s Mass Effect, Bethseda’s Elder Scrolls, and Capcom’s Resident Evil. All franchises Bob dismisses as dudebro garbage. I mean, I’m no Nintendo hater but I feel that company hasn’t envolved that much since the late 90s.

Bob will always cry about wanting everything but the same as it was before.

Imagine being so out of ideas you gender-flip-remake What Women Want. What Women Want! Of all things, what next, are we remaking Dr. Dolittle 3?
