Of those he listed, Bob believes that he is both an artist and intellectual. The trouble with his assumption is that artists actually produce content that comes from their own minds. Being the consummate consumer he is, Bob's entire "career" consists of him reviewing and critiquing the works of others. Hell, I would argue critics like Bob have a parasitic relationship with artists and vastly overestimate their value to the industry as social media makes it easier for word-of-mouth to spread and bypass the middle man/gatekeepers of public opinion. Even when he "produces" something like the Game Overthinker, it is pure bullshit and self-aggrandizement because Bob is the center of his own universe.

As for being an intellectual, HA! It has been said ad infinitum that Bob is jack of no trades and a master of jack shit. He would like to delude himself into believing that he is knowledgeable on a wide range of topics, but knows next to nothing on them except what he is told to believe by his masters. Between watching films, producing garbage-tier content, and sperging out on Twitter, I doubt that Bob has ever picked up a book on history or politics aside from textbooks he had to read for the required beginner courses. Becoming an intellectual means devoting much time to studying in a particular field, and Bob being lazy, only skims through articles that confirm his bias.

No matter how much he pretends otherwise, Bob will never accepted as one of the "elites" because he is the worst kind of white trash with shit taste in food and entertainment. Even with over 100K subscribers on YouTube and (for now) a staff position with the escapist, he is obscure at best and only marginally famous because he is such a lolcow. His only use to the so-called "elites" is as a toy poodle that yaps at everything and gladly accept their scraps because it makes him feel important. I would hesitate to call him obsolete, because he is completely redundant as a human being. There are hundreds of critics that would kill to replace him once his cholesterol-clogged heart gives out.
