Careercow Robert Chipman / Bob / Moviebob / "Movieblob" - Middle-Aged Consoomer, CWC with a Thesaurus, Ardent Male Feminist and Superior Futurist, the Twice-Fired, the Mario-Worshipper, publicly dismantled by Hot Dog Girl, now a diabetic

How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

He would make Phoenix uncomfortable as well.

Also, here’s a simple favor from Neontaster.

Black Panther is an monarch of isolationist etnostate that build a Wall (Mexico didn't pay for it, tho) around their country so the poor fucks won't harsh their mellow. They got rich due the circumstances (a meteor of macguffin alloy crashed into their huts) not their intellectual superiority Bob claim to love. They are, by the definition, privileged.

If you want to enjoy your escapism media, it's fine. Gods know I love consuming some trash in my spare time. But once you try to bend it into an anvil that the political thought is forged on, you should maybe do a double take.

This is some A-level stupidity right here.

We've reached a point in the culture wars where a franchise that was meant to be analogous to minorities during the civil rights era is now seen as a representation of white privilege by SJW's.

Also, his response to criticism of this tweet is about as shallow as I expected it to be.

Hm people privileged by birth to attend a fancy school in the Northeastern US and who look down on the normies...
Oh I get it the X-Men are a metaphor for Coastal Liberals!
See Bob I can bullshit my political views onto pop culture too.

Bob's just butthurt that Xavier rejected his application because diabetes is not a mutant power. To say nothing of how he called Rogue and Cannonball mayonnaise ghouls, and made Storm uncomfortable by ogling her. Cyclops and Wolverine agreed that he was dick and you know how they they disagree on everything.

Nah. Bob's just pissed because the X-Men kicked his ass. They mistook him for The Blob and thought the Brotherhood was up to no good.

I like this one, wasn't sure if it was posted already but lol. Really letting that authoritarianism show, Bob.

tbf and I probably bring it up too much, the X-Men as a civil rights metaphor was a later addition. Early on it was just an excuse for Stan to not have to write origins and implied to be the result of the atomic age. Eventually that was changed and it was even explained some space gods (Celestials) created the X-gene. Writers, especially current ones, get insanely literal with the "mutants=minority" thing where we are getting stories about deportation which isn't how deporting or the x-gene works. It also conflicts with the "next step of evolution!" stuff pretty hard.

So a massive SJW like Bob making fun of the concept is sorta good if it means people would back off on it a bit and get that IP back on track. You can't write a story where some Muslim guy gets treated like shit because of his background and then just scribble out his name for Wolverine. That metaphor's broken.

That would imply Bob had the balls to call someone a Nazi to their face. Bobby is a classic case of Internet Tough Guy. Bob "I'm from Boston, we fight" Chipman projects his image of a tough guy so hard on the internet to try and mask the fact that offline he is so terrified of actual confrontation that if a bona fide nazi did come into the bar Bob was currently chocking down gin and Sprite in, Bob would cower in the corner and hope he wasn't noticed. Then he'd go online and make up some barfight he got in with said Nazi to feel better about his cowardice.

I dont think Bob can handle gin and sprite, I see him more a Shirley Temple drinker.

nothing is ever good enough. the grievance culture of those days has been outmoded by the new grievances of today.
