How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Curiously and unsurprisingly, I wanna know if Chipman the Hutt ranted about Seth MacFarlane's The Orville given that show is more of a Star Trek show than Discovery will ever be.
I doubt it even with his reasonings for genuinely enjoying it, he probably likes it because a hardcore progressive is behind it and considering Seth made the peak of comedy with the episode, Trump Guy, I doubt Bob will never shit on Seth.

So did Bob ever react to his job attacking his most beloved?

What, so the Escapist is calling Mario problematic because he jumped on mushrooms and turtles to rescue a princess? NIntendo only had 8 BITS to work with! They weren't going to cram SMB with animated cutscenes where Mario learns the futility of his violent tactics and agrees to forgo all forms of toxic masculinity while the princess rescues herself because that's what all strong female characters do nowadays! I can believe an outfit as insufferable as The Escapist would keep Bob on the payroll, if only to tick off well-adjusted non-SJWs that are interested in gaming...

I hated Family Guy and American Dad, but I'm kind of tempted to check out The Orville simply because the left has been sperging about it non-stop.

What exactly is he pissed off about?

McIntosh was the guy that said we should not celebrate Bin Ladin's death because it's ghoulish, and then danced on Hitchens grave before the body was cold. He's a contrarian that doesn't understand fun.

To steal a term from Ayn Rand, he's likely just blanked out that article from his mind. He did the same when Anita and co. were complaining about Mario. He did video about how she was wrong, and when his allies did buy it he went on as if the criticisms didn't exist. How can he support inclusive media and still like Mario? Blankout. How can he complain about sexualization in media when he sexualizes a cartoon princess from a kids game? Blankout.

So who told Blobb to like Orville?
As a person who hated Discovery and has enjoyed Orville since it's first trailer last year Orville fans were called racist and sexist by SJWs as they praised Discovery with critics who loathed Orville. Now it's season 2 of Orville and critics and SJWs love it. What changed? Well Disney did buy Fox which owns Orville. But that couldn't be the reason could it? It now seems strange the mouse buys Fox and suddenly Orville is good.

Well, the Mouse did produce SJW friendly Star Wars, so if the Mouse does it, it must be okay.
Remember, these are NPCs we're talking about. They literally have to be told what to think.

That also explains why he’s excited about the X-Men in the MCU.

This is basically Bobs view on everything in entertainment. "I don't want the people I don't like getting things that make them happy." One thing consistent with Bob is that his only joys are whatever the enemy if it is Republicans or dudebros or whatever is not happy about it. I would not be surprised if he did not care for 2016 Ghostbusters but of course he would not be too critical about it because he can't share an opinion with a dudebro.

Bob’s opinion on the 2016 Ghostbusters is actually a common misconception on here. While Bob gave it a positive review and bemoaned people complaining about it, the truth is, Bob’s a massive sperg over the original film and wasn’t terribly thrilled about the remake. He treated Fembusters pretty much the same way Jeremy Corbyn treated Brexit - the side he came down on was more out of obligation than genuine commitment.

If you read between the lines enough in his review, you can tell he’s being as critical as he thinks he can get away with without being crucified by his Twitter overlords. It’s probably the reason he had one of his rare moments of sanity and didn’t chuck James Rolfe under the bus after he announced he wasn’t interested in seeing the film.

So apparently Sony is continuing the Ghostbusters franchise by making the new one a sequel to the original, not the Fembusters from 2016.

As such, Bob’s pretty salty about it.

What Bob doesn't understand is that the almighty dollar motivated Sony's decision. They spent mountains of cash producing and marketing Ghostbusters 2016 and it was the biggest flop of that year no matter how hard the critics shilled it. One of the main reasons was because it was A) disrespectful to the source material, and B) Paul Feig and the cast went out of their way to antagonize the fanbase. Fans are not going to spend their hard-earned money on a shit film because a corporation tells them to. They would much rather pay for a film they like and would recommend to their friends. Need I remind Bob that it was bad word-of-mouth from the writing and direction of BvS that kept it from reaching the $1B mark?

Some bean counter at Sony realized this and now they are "starting over." It's too early to say if this will be a continuation of the original GB, but Jason Reitman as director is a step in the right direction because of the familial connection (and he was a kid when it released so there is the nostalgia factor.) Meanwhile, Amy Pascal had to beg Paul Feig to take the job and give him unchecked creative control over the film. Plus there is the chicanery that happened when Pascal used Harold Ramis' death to wrest control of the franchise from Jason's father, Ivan Reitman.

There is also the fact that Jason Reitman is an acclaimed director with Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, which Bob should find meaningful. He's shilling hard for Black Panther after all. Despite dressing up in fancy suits, Paul Feig's films are about as lowbrow at it gets. He was a horrible choice. Period.

Of course this all about Bob's ego. He shilled for GB2016 and it had no effect. The fact it bombed is proof positive that he has no influence and has to blame the fans for his failures as a critic and commentator.

I do remember him complaining how it was stupid to remake it and then shill for it later because of the cast.

Bob's thoughts were essentially this:
"Remaking Ghostbusters is a horrible idea."
"But this one star women, and I have a feminist bias so I'm compelled to support it."
"But the trailers look terrible."
"Well fuck you for pointing that out."

There's the sort of intellectual rigor and thoughtful, honest analysis one expects from a film critic.

My conclusion is that he got his ass kicked, hard.

My guess. He had a crush on a girl he never asked out. Likely never even talked to her. And she probably ended up dating a jock and wearing his Letterman jacket. And Bob has had a bad case of impotent rage towards jocks ever since.

Let me know if I hit a nerve there, Bobby.
