He really doesn’t get how impeachment works.

The comments about white privilege nudged something in my memory and I had to go dig it out. Someone linked me to this not long ago; you might call it photographic commentary on 'white privilege'. The writer in question's pretty conservative but bear with him; the pics say a lot more.
Like it was pointed out on a podcast I listened to today: the poor in America today have greater wealth and riches than Rockefeller did at the height of his riches.

EVERYONE in America is privileged. Would Bobby get dropped off in another country for a time and see how those people live.

"remove him at in the election" - he claims to have won the war but the beetus marches on.

He also claims to be a writer.

It's been a really busy week in Weeb Wars and KoP nonsense. Has Film Robert done anything to top conservatives robbing him of his divinely ordained retarded star trek fantasy future?

Well, yes and no. The thing (problem?) is that people measure themselves in comparison to those around them, so even everyone's needs being perfectly fulfilled doesn't actually make them happy. So even being objectively more secure than Rockefeller (yay, penicillin!) doesn't ameliorate many ills that come from things like class tensions- the poor will always be with us, even if the floor on "poor" keeps objectively rising.

But yes, in comparison to the vast majority of human history, the first world is incredibly privileged. Hell, even the second and third worlds are fairly privileged. There's nothing white male specific about the bounty of industrial revolution (there are, however, numerous cases where it's a de jure advantage to not be white and/or male. I can't think of any scenarios where the reverse is true.)

There are no scenarios in the first world where being a white male is an inherent advantage (except maybe sports).

But there is DENFINETELY an advantage to being a white male in the third world.

As an example, I was travelling in India and my hotel was overbooked because of a local religious festival. The hotel manager apologised to me and told me that he would throw out an Indian family and give their room to me since I was white. (I told him not to, of course).

“America was only cool when Obama was around.”

So move to one of the top 10 countries in your head, you fucking sack of lipids. Or can you not afford to leave scenic Lynn, Massachusetts on the nest egg of Patreon pity bux and leftover McNuggest sauce packets you've built up over the years?

That second tweet is really telling of how self-contradicting Bob's worldview is. Think of all the shit that Bob lost his cool over during Obama's second term as President:
  • Gamergate
  • Trump running and ultimately winning the Presidency
  • A general resurgence of political views that Bob doesn't like on the internet and in culture
Now I'm not saying that any of this should be viewed as an indication of the quality Obama's term as President because that's just stupid. But in terms of Bob's worldview, Obama's second term should be considered one of the worst points in American history for him given just how terrible and important he wants to make these things out to be.

Instead, it's "peak America" for him.
