I am shocked...(sorry I'm doing this in real time) the first video that I clicked on was this.

I'm not caught up on my MovieBob lore, as I kinda lost track of him after he was let go from ScrewAttack but did he actually lose a foot or is that just poking fun at him because he has Type-2 Diabeetus?

I know a comic nerd I used to follow, Mike "The Birdman" Dodd lost a foot to the Beetus but he was always north of 500 pounds and, despite having a smooth and buttery radio voice never came off as the athletic type.

I'm also reminded of Sean Fausz (Sp?) of Channel Awesome who had a heart attack before 30 because he was also north of 500 pounds. I'm still salty AF at Metokur for not doing content on him after teasing it in his TGWTG retrospective.

To tie it all back to Bob what I'm saying is he's EASILY north of 400 pounds, probably gets winded sleeping and won't see 50 because he won't take his own advice and go exercise. Nah, we've seen his feet. He was working on some project with his brother and posted some photos where you could clearly see neither of his feet are prosthetic. Pretty sure you could see them in those infamous Cancun pictures, too.

Let's revisit Bob, who definitely does lots of strength training in his legs and core, in his wedding finery:

Given how Bob doesn't understand how governance in the United States work, I shouldn't expect him to know how parliamentary democracies in other nations work, but I thought it would be worth mentioning. The American system has some better checks and balances than Westminster style its northern neighbor uses. Canada has no equivalent of the Electoral College and the Canadian Senate is a steaming mess. Unlike the United States senate, none of the Canadian provinces get equal representation (less populated and economically significant provinces like New Brunswick and Nova Scotia get more seats than Alberta or British Columbia) and the Prime Minister effectively appoints senators without needing input from the provinces. Furthermore, the seat distribution concentrates political power in the Windsor-Quebec City Corridor and--to a lesser extent--the lower mainland of British Columbia AKA Vancouver and its surrounding areas...

...it is essentially Bob's political wet dream.

However, the problem with that is that despite what the blockheads in Ottawa deluded themselves into thinking, Canada is not one happy federation. Regionalism and other interests have created some rather bitter divisions in the country particularly in the prairie provinces. The fight between Alberta and British Columbia over the Trans-Mountain Pipeline expansion for example, and then there's old resentments as the oil glut has cost the former 100,000 jobs, but Ottawa is more concerned about 20,000 from the GM plant closure in Oshawa and that clusterfuck that is SNC-Lavalin in Montreal. Then there is their dithering over the aforementioned TMX expansion and Bills C-48 and C-69 that hinder Alberta's ability to export bitumen. Alberta premier Jason Kenney has warned that these policies are threatening Canadian unity.

TL;DR Bob's favored method of a highly-centralized and borderline authoritarian (world) government are more likely cause more harm than good. Additionally, his elitism (like the Canadian governmental and media elite) renders him completely oblivious to this fact.

There's been off-and-on discussion of "Prairie Separation" for decades, and the primary reason that Trudeau tried to hide the SNC-Lavalin fiasco is because it impacts Liberal-party-supporting businesses and ridings. Honestly, If Western Canada and the Territories told Ontario and Quebec to fuck off, shit would change rapidly, but secession is functionally impossible, after the Meech Lake Accords (the federal gov't can essentially just say "Naw, you're staying"). The other major factor is that Alberta and BC need to come to terms about Alberta's need to have shipping access, or Alberta will have to commit to building either refinery and storage capacity to match the sort that Texas has, or commit to building pipelines to US facilities capable of handling the output.

Wouldn't hurt if they put some ground work into nuclear, since they're letting Suncor building fucking windfarms for reasons that continue to fucking escape me.

At any rate, Bob is a fucking idiot - if Scheer wins the next election (which isn't unlikely, it's up to Scheer to lose to the manifestly unsuitable Trudeau and his Liberal Party), Bob will suddenly find reasons why the Canadian electoral system (which is definitely fucked for all the reasons mentioned above) is suddenly the worst system ever.
