We also have another gem from last night:

I love how the jobs in the city that Bobbo listed are all one simple thing...

Providing a service for others for minimum wage.

They're all service industry jobs. You could completely remove them (except the nursing jobs, unless you just want to fire the aging Boomers into the sun) and nothing would change in the larger scheme of things.

Just like Bob.

I’m laughing at the idiots who agree with Blobb who are service workers upset people are (rightly) calling their jobs shit and worthless.

Much like with every other topic Blobb opines on, he’s completely wrong on this one but it’s just another day that ends in y.

Why does he keep referring to white men as “societally obsolete” when white people are still the majority in this country and will be unless you lump all minorities in one group which they don’t want (most want nothing to do with each other, especially wanting to be grouped with black people).

Also, lots of minorities work coal jobs and in other markets like oil too. It’s not just a white/Appalachian thing. We should definitely move into more renewable fuel but not without first funding job training programs and not into service sector jobs which are garbage and easily replaceable with automation. You could fully automate a McDonald’s today including all the cooking and food prep areas regardless what Blobb thinks. The wait staff knows jack shit about food safety, it’s the kitchen crew and primarily the chef and managers that handle all the important work unlike what Blobb thinks.

What’s funny is that it’s coming from a man who thinks he’s a elitist when he’s poorly educated on entertainment and ignorantly clueless on politics (which baffles me to how he manage to pass government or social studies in high school).

Lol. Had to double post.

Factory work in the upper mid-west is almost entirely staffed with Mexicans and Asians.

Could Bob even get a job at a McDonalds? What real world work experience does he actually have?
Beyond the Escapist, I don't think he has any. Which is what makes his hot takes so hilarious. He genuinely thinks (or at least has convinced himself) that his job of reviewing movies is more vital to society than growing food.

probably not, if he wasn't employed by the Escapist he'd be a welfare parasite for life (like most leftist 'radicals' and 'big thinkers') - he's too physically and mentally feeble to work, and his experience lies somewhere between fuck and all

Well, I think mcDonalds could use a garbage disposal of all the leftovers the costumers don't finish. But being serious, I honestly cannot imagine him behind a cash register or behind a deep fryer at best the guy might just be the janitor and that's about it.

I don't know about that, dude. I worked as cashier at a fast food place once (at that place cashiers were also tasked with some janitorial duties; mostly during closing time and when things got slow). The work wasn't to difficult. I think that just about anyone with a highschool education can do it as they are willing to work hard and can be on their feet for eight hours strai...

...on second thought maybe you're right...

Well that and let's be real as a cashier you also need to keep a calm and collected disposition as you'll get rude, simple assholes or downright stupid costumers. Can you imagine Bobo biting his tongue while some equally fat bastard is calling him stupid for not getting his order right?
