You can impeach a President for anything, literally anything at all as long as a majority of Representatives votes yes. Will he be convicted in the Senate? No, zero chance.

And even if they could impeach him for it, the Senate is controlled by the Republicans, who would likely not convict him unless there was some sort of "smoking gun" that has him dead to rights, and even then they'd likely acquit him given how polarized and insane the political climate has been for the past few years.
In short, they've got no grounds for impeachment and even if they did, it's not gonna amount to anything.

Worth mentioning is that the Senate requires a 2/3rds vote for conviction. Even with squishes like Collins and Murkowski and outright quislings like Romney, it's not going to happen.
Also, message to "girldickvandyke" if you lurk here: allowing Bob to be the most influential media figure in your life is justifiable grounds for assisted suicide.

Trump had a phone conversation with the Ukrainian President.
A "whistleblower", who DID NOT HEAR THE CONVERSATION, claimed that something was illegal about it.
Never says what, of course.
The media, being the starving jackal that it is, ran with the story to give Democrats a political angle.
Democrats took the bait, and now Trump is releasing the actual transcript tomorrow, confident that it shows nothing illegal.
In the meantime, Americans are getting a reminder that Joe Biden as VP threatened to withhold foreign aid from the Ukraine unless they fired an investigator who was looking into Biden's son. Biden even bragged about it.
