Moviebob when demonstrating how "The worst guys aren't as famous" uses Nestle CEO Ulf Mark Schneider as an example, and makes the statement:

"I could probably stop at "three names, all German," "

Jesus Christ fuck this hypocritical asshat.

Bob, once again being really defensive that his "apartment" in the most suburban part of Revere, noted Boston suburb, is TECHNICALLY not a basement apartment.

For some reason.

Will Bob every move out of his basement to the Urban style loft he has so desperately earned through his blood, sweat, and giant brain?

Remember how before we've wondered what the mirror universe Bob would be?

I've found him.
I would suggest that the Marvel movies have the appeal they do at least in part precisely because they both convey these traditional ideals, but do so in a way that is fantastic enough that the offense to political correctness is not blatant. A film series whose heroes are a square patriotic soldier, the son of a heavenly Father come to earth, and a strutting capitalist alpha male sounds like something tailor-made for a Red State audience, and the last thing that would attract A-list actors and billions in investment from a major studio. Put these characters in colorful costumes, scenarios drawn from science fiction, and a little PC window dressing (such as portraying their girlfriends as a soldier, a scientist, and a businesswoman, respectively), and suddenly even a Blue State crowd can get on board.

The rest of the article gets really nerdy and philosophical in case you were curious what it was like to read someone who actually knows how to use the big words Bob tries (and fails) to use.

You know not to quote Nostalgia Critic, but it’s sometimes better to go “simple but deep instead of being complicated and shallow” regarding vocabulary.

He’s so ashamed he lives in a basement that he’s desperately trying to re-classify it as something more chic. You live below the fucking dirt, Blob. Until you move above dirt and live somewhere that can’t flood when it rains, don’t act like you’re better than anyone.

Around here some people who live in a trashy area try to claim they live in north XX or South XX (where XX is a nicer part of town) but everyone fucking knows they live in the shitty part town.

My only criticism is that Bob doesn't live in his parent's house. He lives in a below-ground apartment that just so happens to be underneath his brother's domicile (who just so happens to be his landlord) you INSECT!
Actually he denies even that; he claims he lives in a basement below-ground apartment in the house of a COMPLETE ASSHOLE STRANGER.

To quote bob's tweet on the subject, "I think my family would notice if I was living with them".

*he MAY have at one time lived with his brother, but that was probably several years ago.

FilmRobert finally acknowledges the coonsoomer meme

Also, Bob being a superior American of Intelligence has decided enlighten the world with a well-researched and objective analysis of American and European politics:

Bob Chipman EXPOSES the GOP and calls them out on their DERANGED fantasies.

Indeed the GOP should be like Bob and parrot the sane and realistic rhetoric about the "superior future™".

Lol.

The house in Revere where he is living is his aunt's, near as we can tell.

His brother Chris lives in Lynn.

There is nothing shameful about living with a relative, either it's a parent, a sibling, or whatever. Yes, living alone is a sign of success, but living in a relative's house isn't necessarily a sign of failure either. I know many adults who live with their parents until they get married and makes sense for them because they're normal people who save money for the future (they don't have to pay rent), they have a big house for them rather than some small apartment, etc. Because they have jobs and contribute to the household (or pay most for it), they can do whatever they want in the house.

Being an adult is not living on your own, being an adult is to accept that you're decided the way in which you live and feel no shame for it, and if it's shameful, also accept it. Denial is childish, imo.

Agreed, especially in a place known to be expensive. I don't make fun of Bob because he's not particularly successful or because he lives within his means. I make fun of Bob because he's a talentless hack who imagines he's a genius.

Fair enough, but it must be said that when people rag on Bob for his living situation, his physical appearance, or his apparent lack of a love life, it's generally because he invites such insults by hypocritically slagging other people for all of those things.

Also Bob's idea of interior decorating as soon as he moved out of his parent's place was to collect and stack every empty can he drank as an altar to his obesity.

He's proof that you can be trailer-trashesqe without ever having lived in a trailer. He's a self-styled temporarily embarrassed technocrat that could never actally make in a technocracy, hence his slavish devotion to a fantastical superior future where ideas guys rule but the ones that make ideas real have been replaced by robots or a disenfranchised underclass. All while trying to claim the cultural snobbery of being an elightened elite at the same time as trying to wear the garb of the plebian working class. Bob's a complex character.

Honestly, the only defense he has for him is the ad hominems about all of that, if we stopped ragging him on that than he probably wouldn't have a defense against his shit reviews, constant need of butting in his dumb political takes, and the constant fascist ideology he has for the "obsoletes"

Anything else I miss?

90% of the reason he's got a 2000+ page thread here is that he's an incredibly hateful piece of shit. If he were just this goofy cultural critic with a massive blind spot for his own absurdity I doubt anyone would care. But, as has been noted many times, there's just something about the way he sneers down at everyone who can't advance or destroy his "career" that provokes otherwise chill people to irritation bordering on rage.

Example of Bob Assholery include:

~Pushing hard for abortion while at the same time celebrating new pregnancies among his family members (Hey, Bob, did you know that most women who seek out abortions are proud and oppressed Women of Color? Why do you want to erase Proud Women of Color, Bob?)

~Wanting to take away the rights of those he deems "undesirable", while being too cowardly to implement such a plan himself - instead, he wants to push others into doing it for him.

~Feeling entitled to wealth, influence, and resources, merely for having the "right" opinion about things. At the same time, he disparages most of the people who actually produce and develop technology and resources, because they belong to the wrong political party.

~Declaring himself a Feminist while at the same time shielding molesters and drooling over women himself.

~Wanting even the children of his political enemies to suffer real world torments, because of their parents' beliefs and actions.

~Shooting his mouth off, Brainy Smurf style about things he knows little about, while trying to make himself sound smart.

~Hatefully insulting anyone who disagrees with him - unless they're a powerful celebrity, influential SJW, or attractive woman/transwoman. Then he grovels before them and apologizes profusely whenever they correct him.

~And lastly, most heinously of all:

Of course, I'm saying that the only thing he could deflect all of that away is the ad-homs with his look, his home, his life, and his tastes. Then again he keeps pussy-footing around the fact that he is a diehard eugenicist fan and wishes it on those he finds below him (which is literally no one since he is a literal mole man).
