It's legitimately possible that it might get pushed back into 2021. You have to remember that not only is there a growing film backlog in America, there's an even bigger one in China. Disney makes a huge amount of money over there, especially in regards to the MCU.

Disney might as well just hold out until the backlog clears and the Chinese market stabilizes. Rushing it out too soon won't be good for their profit margins.

The core of the entire west is built around europeans and their varied beliefs. The entire concept of a Republic started in Greece and later Rome. Things like managing resources and being self sufficient are a big part of a country who values Independence.

You wanna know what causes populations and countries to fail? Becoming so dependent on handouts or outside powers for long periods of time that you lose the means of thinking long term(because it's never your problem), maintaining whats yours(because you didn't pay for it so why should you take care of it?), and any and all investment in the country and society as a whole.
