I don't wanna get all 'mad at the internet' here but man oh man does cinema bloberto piss me off. Fat fucking waste of oxygen sitting around his house reviewing capeshit and pretending like he's some staggering intellectual that should be elected president of the cosmos. How can one man be this blinkered, calling the console wars his personal vietnam and pretending corporate mandated films designed to entertain children and the mentally feeble are some cause célèbres worth fighting over. Just the idea of this fat faggot with zero self control who downs entire family sized meals of micky d's lecturing others on how to think, vote and act would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic and delusional.

Two things I'm taking away from this:

1. The publish date of the vid is June 29th, 2011. For a man who claims to have lost so much weight and is taking better care of himself compared to a decade ago, as is he great go-to whenever anyone brings up his Super Mario costume, he looks strikingly the same now. It's the kind of thing that makes you go

2. I was under the impression that his weirdo political anger and bile got worse over time, culminating into the frothing tard rage we see today. Alas, I was wrong as, again, this video was published in 2011 and he's saying the exact same thing of how there can be no peace. I find it funny too that in the video he inadvertently supports the market place of ideas with his dipshit gladiatorial allusion. I know the moron really means "My idea can beat up your idea" literally given all the other context of duking it out.

Bonus points for Bob taking up the ethnonationalist talking point of people of different backgrounds/race cannot get along and we should fight for supremacy years before America ever heard of Richard Spencer. In one word: BASED.

There really wasn't anything all that traumatizing about the 16 bit console wars now that I think about it. The Genesis and SNES were usually on par with each other which made picking one over the other a toss up. Bob also doesn't play RPGs outside of Super Mario RPG so a good chink of the Genesis' and SNES's library would be non-existent to him. I mean if you mostly cared about always picking the winner it would have made you anxious because it was a constant back and forth between the two systems month to month. Like how Lion King and Aladdin were superior on the Genesis, or one system would have nothing but trash one month and the next it would get a stellar game.

Consoles at this point really have not battled it out intensely for awhile. You've had the Playstation be people's primary system and Nintendo has become their secondary system.

The only place where there's a real fight is PC and it's mostly due to store clients since nobody gives a fuck about Desktop Macs anymore.

I've been tempted to go through the entire Super Mario Super Show to see if it's as weird as I remember it. You also had stuff like The Dragon's Lair TV series that was also on at the time as well along with a few other video games shows. But I think the SMSS may have held up the best out of any of them, I mean that's not saying much especially since we know the direction mario took after the 16 bit era and the show is an abandoned relic.

Also you have shit like Widget the World Watcher and Dinosaucers from the same span of time that have yet to get a home release and I don't think any streaming service offers them. Hell they don't even have any Funko pop merchandise.
