So the scenarios for Bobby Chimpman splitting accounts goes like this:

1. He is finally getting so assblasted that he's getting ratio'd on his big bidness account by literally everyone but his fans that he wants to hide like a bitch while still tarding in rage.
2. He finally realized that his rants about how everyone but him are subhuman specimens are killing his manchild money earnings and so half-assed this.
3. He was told upfront by the Escapist he'll get fired again, and this half-assed attempt to hide is so he can continue to tard rage while avoiding the embarrassing result of getting fired twice by the company.

I lean towards one myself, because I now firmly believe that he's a big pussy coward who refuses to fight his own battles, and is now so lacking in asspats this was his only way to continue to creep and be a cry bully without getting ratioed.

Here's a proverbial toast to everyone who contributed to getting Bob's fascistic genocidal rants off of Twitter, for however long it lasts.
Bob's lolcow content output is probably going to dwindle, unfortunately, but it's an overall good thing.
It may give people a chance to step back and reflect on his most embarrassing past moments.

Back in Spiderman's Hey day (late 80's, early 90's, before the clone shit), the best issues were the ones Doc Ock was on it.

Ironically, Bob has never read The Superior Spider-man, which I feel was Doc Ock at his most interesting.
If you get over the mind-swapping silliness, it's an entertaining deconstruction of Spider-man.

Otto blanketed New York in surveillance drones, added a radioactive isotope to his webbing so it was stronger and lasted longer (a side effect being that it could give people cancer) and he wasn't against killing murderers if they were truly unrepentant.
Despite cutting corners, Otto was superior at making the city safer, by breaking the rules that Uncle Ben taught Peter.
Plus his dialogue is pretty funny, the idea of a villain threatening another villain with a more over-the-top villain monologue is a good Megamind-style twist.

Not just that, but part of the reason why he's avoided being banned for so long is because of his blue checkmark. Which is no longer as easy to get as when he first got it.

So now he's planning to put his galaxy brained takes, which would get anyone without a stupid checkmark banned from the site, on a brand new account that doesn't have the protections he has on his original one.

Regarding why he finally branched into a private account, my two big guesses:

* The Escapist bosses finally had enough and warned Bob to at least try to stop tanking their reputation in public. His return was always poorly received by much of the community and his antics since then have only gotten worse, especially since Russ Pitts got fired.

* Bob finally had enough of being so unpopular that both the left and right hate him and keep making memes like consoomer, space wheat and "Twenty fucking nineteen" and snapped. He's been very visibly unhappy for a while that a lot of big Leftist personalities on Twitter mock him (very obviously seen in his feuds with Chapo and Peter Coffin, Bob is always shocked when Leftists react in repulsion to him), so by privating his account he's trying to limit how often everyone takes the piss out of him. What it really means is just that people are gonna follow the private one and share screencaps of his rants.

So basically job security or ego.

Sadly my autism wouldn't let me get over how none of Peter's allies caught on to the drastic change in personality. It was one thing if Doc Ock kept up the facade in front of his friends, but he was 100% dick all the time.

I've seen it here and there. There's an old let's play channel, Superbestfriends that had one solely posting their videos and podcasts with all of them having their own personal accounts to talk about bullshit. There's also a comic shop owner I'm familiar with who has a checkmark account where he keeps it professional and his anonymous account where he calls out people in comic industry being asshats on both sides because those guys will blacklist you in a heartbeat if they know who you are.

He's not even half assing this new split Twitter. He's ten percent assing it, at most. It's obvious he can't bear the thought of his very important opinions being ignored, even if the alternative is everyone hating them and him. In a country with a proper government like China's, liking his Tweets would be mandatory!

The EFAP crew laughed at Robert's recent "small meal for an average sized person" McDonald's Tweet for a full ten minutes in their recent video. Shadiversity's initial reaction upon reading it is especially funny. He's completely overwhelmed.
