Something I don't get about the social justice pandering to the hating of the US: If immigrants are leaving their shitty situations at home to come here (to the US), wouldn't that mean immigrants perceive this place as better? If the multicultural rainbow that twitter sucks up to thinks this place is great, why can't I? It's as if the social justice mob expects me to support immigration on the basis that some folks have incredibly poor situations in their homeland (fair enough), but I'm simultaneously expected to decry the US for being the worst place on the planet. Is this place good enough for immigrants, or is it not?

It would probably cost under $500 and a weekend to re-tile that floor with something that did not look like a roach would stop and put on shoes before walking into that room.
